One of the great things about playing role-playing games—apart from the suspense of disbelief—is taking massive, audacious risks and watching them pay off in real time. This is both thrilling and rewarding, as there's really no real-life risk involved. However, it would be foolish to think that just because there's no real-life risk in the game, you can translate your character's behavior into real life. Basically, just because you're roleplaying as a charismatic womanizing bard doesn't give you license to become a sleazy casanova in real life who feels they're entitled to the affections of the DM's (Dungeon Master's) sister.

This DM was forced to ban a new player from her group's table after he rolled consecutive critical misses. First, failing a perception check and then rolling a one on persuasion, all while apparently forgetting that he hadn't put any points into charisma. The Dm is now wondering if she did the right thing and appealing to the internet for their thoughts.

Over our time writing for ICanHasCheezburger, we have come across some extremely memorable cat adoption stories. Like the story of the story of the extremely handsome firefighter who rescued a cat from the rubble in Turkey and went super viral for it, or the story of the person who adopted the senior 'sick cat that no one wanted' and gave it a second chance at life. We have seen many stories like these, and each and every one of them warms our hearts and gives us hope for humanity, but we have never seen a cat adoption story anything like the one that we are covering today.

What is the point in filling out a schedule if your availability is not going to be honored by your manager? It's kind of the whole point in having an elaborate shift-based schedule in the first place. And look: we are sympathetic to the fact that last-minute crises occur and schedules have to be adjusted accordingly. However, when those instances do occur and managers need to call in favors, they should remember that they are in no place to make demands. Asking nicely if someone can shuffle around their availability to come in is the only way to handle this responsibly. Demanding that workers come in during their "off" hours and pretending like this is allowed and within the jurisdiction of management is how you lose any semblance of loyalty.

At a certain point, ordering a specific dish without the vital components that make it that specific dish in the first place becomes pretty pointless. How many cats are too many cats? We do not mean generally, but when would you say is the right time to stop bringing more cats into your home? There are many firm believers that the cats in the house should not outnumber the humans. So if there are two humans, the maximum number of cats should also be two. Howdy hoomans! You won't believe where we discovered little Loki lazily dozing off this morning. When we awoke bright and early, Loki was resting on our gorgeous white orchid pot plants! For the past few months, we have been tending to our lovely orchid. We followed all the instructions and steered clear of breezes, cold areas, rooms with abrupt decreases in temperature, and hot air vents. But in one swift move, Loki storms into the room and destroys the beautiful flower!

The day that ride-share apps became a thing was the same day that yellow cabs got the boot. Back in the good ol' days of ride-sharing, you could hitch a ride with a stranger in their private vehicle for about $8-10 a trip. Nowadays, with the money-grubbing corporate vultures coming for the carcass of a snazzy startup, that same ride is going to take 10x as long and cost triple. What happened? With almost too much information going into the app (like your driver rating, your destination, your previous rides, your likelihood to tip, etc), it's no wonder drivers are becoming more picky and entitled with their rider selection. For a driver cutting pathetic margins on each ride, of course, they're going to be stringent. But is it right for a driver to flat-out lie about their vehicle just to make an extra buck? 

No way, no how.
