As feline pawrents have come to find out, Caturday is a day where our cat children let go of all decorum and run wild and free, elated by the prospect of having a hooman home to feed them and clean up any messes the moment they happen.

But what we do not talk about enough is how to handle this heck of a day. Sure, there is no denying that Catruday has a whole lot of beauty to it. In the moments between the madness it is not uncommon to find yourself lying on the couch, cuddling your cat child, even running your fingers carelessly through their furbidden belly fur.

But those moments are relatively fickle and for the most part our clawminal cat children are up to no good causing a ruckus in the house you are desperately trying to hold together. And that is why we put together this collection of funny felines to both show you how bad it can actually get and to remind you that while you might not find it funny when it happens in your own home, cat clawminality is generally something to laugh about rather than cry.

She brought them food and water and left them alone. The next day, she comes back to see how they're doing while trying not to scare them. She mostly worries about the kittens because she wants to help, but can't get close enough yet.

These days he follows them around the yard wherever they go, always wanting to be nearby. For a cat who may have spent years fending for himself, he seems more than ready to trade street life for wet food, attention, and a comfortable place to spend his golden years.

Personally, I think the answer is pretty simple. Most people trust that their neighbors are following the rules. We don't usually jump straight to the conclusion that someone is operating a side business from their apartment.

That said, I can completely understand why residents were upset once they learned what had been happening. This wasn't just about noise or extra foot traffic. Because the utility costs were shared, every additional load of laundry had a direct impact on everyone else's bill. That's where the situation starts feeling less like an entrepreneurial idea and more like an unfair burden placed on the rest of the building.

It comes as no surprise that companies would do anything in their power to take as much from their employee as they can while giving back as little as possible. To say that the employee below was out the door as soon as she could be would be an understatement, since she made sure that her resignation would be something everyone remembers. The fact that one of her coworkers decided to share the story on Reddit's r/ToxicWorkplace community proves that she left an unforgettable mark.

For months, this employee gave her heart and soul to her company, without getting anything in return. Even the raises and promotions she would get were disrespectful and incredibly below the average on the market, yet they kept telling her there was nothing else they could do. For a while, she accepted that and kept on working, until one discovery made her realize just how underappreciated she really is.

When the company told her they were going to hire an assistant for her, she was pretty excited. She has been working so hard and could really use the help. Then, she saw the assistant's job posting, and discovered that the company plans to offer the assistant $5k - $30k more than she makes herself. 

That was the final straw for the employee. She now knew that no matter how hard she worked, she would never get what she truly deserved in the company. But that doesn't mean that she was going to leave without making sure the entire company knew what they were losing…

Do your cats show signs of the 'tism?

One of the best parts of being a cat owner is getting to know all of your cattos' weird quirks. They might only drink water out of leftover mugs, maybe they sleep in between the couch cushions, or purrhaps they randomly choose when to listen to you and when not to (well, that sounds about normal, to be honest). All cats are weird little guys, but that's part of their feline charm. If we wanted a pet that was more or less predictable, we would have gotten a doggo!

But we would be lying if we said that all cats were the same level of weirdo (we say that in the most loving way pawssible). Some cats are the creme de la creme of quirky, and the fluffy cat, Simba, in our cat mom's post below from Reddit's r/Cats community, is one of them. She suspected something was wrong with him for a long time, to the point of bringing Simba to the vet and saying this:

"I think he has autism, what are our next steps?"

Firstly, we think it's hilarious that this cat mom would think her cat has the 'tism, because it's just a funny thought to have. Now, on with our story…

The vet examined Simba, checking for anything physically wrong with him, and came back with the most hissterical answer he could have: Simba was just deaf.

Fully embarrassed, the cat mom, her kid, and Simba left the vet and went home with their deaf cat, and lived happily ever after.
