Divorce is hard on everyone - and that includes the cats. 

Adopting a cat together is, in theory, a really great and wholesome idea. A way to bond over something mutual. A "baby" to raise together. Lots of couples do it when they are in love and happy and everything seems great. And if everything works out, then perfect. The kitty has two loving pawrents instead of just one. But it doesn't always work out. Sometimes, breakups happen. And those breakups happen to the cats too. 

When you split up your family - and that is what you become when you adopt a cat together - you cannot split the cat between the two parents. It's not a child. It can't do weekends in one house and weekdays in the other. Cats need stability, and cat people generally understand that. So that raises the question - who gets to keep the cat? 

In every case like this that we have seen so far, there is always a custody battle. Both owners want the cat, both owners are bonded with the cat, and to an extent, even if the cat is bonded to one owner more than the other, it's still bonded to both of them. What we have never seen is a case like the one today. Despite being one of the friendliest, cuddliest, sweetest cats that we have ever seen, neither of his owners wanted him. This cat was actually abandoned after his owners divorced, and honestly, we don't get it. We don't understand why they would adopt a cat in the first place if neither of them really wanted him. It's a good thing that actual good people exist in this world. 

The woman who decided to rescue this cat saved his life. Because he was lost. He didn't understand why he was abandoned by everyone, why he was left alone to fend for himself. All he wanted was a hug. And this woman gave that to him and more. He is now in a home where he is actually loved, unlike where he was before. So maybe we should say thank you to his previous owners. He's in a much better home now.

All-star employees are rarely ever compensated for their extraordinary work. 

The truth of the matter is, it's not the compliments, the bonuses, and the promotions that all overachievers are looking for, sometimes it's just a nod in their direction or some credit where credit is due. If managerial staff isn't going to recognize when their workforce shoots for the moon, perhaps it's time the common, working man acts their wage, fulfilling only their most menial tasks in the time allotted for them. What's to motivate the employee's deflated brain after getting scolded for good work? Nothing short of a 150% raise, a corner office, and a four-day workweek would make these employees forget the tarnished image of their leadership team. 

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, the uncompensated overtime hours, the extra effort, and the unrecognized skills make a fool out of me.

That is simply how the way things are at work. Even if employees absolutely love their boss, as rare as it may be, they still need a space to vent without the upper management knowing.

Sometimes the cat distribution system shows up at work.

But what about these two sweet strays down here? Well, they have an even more special story that's still going on. And it's even sweeter than usual. This bonded cat couple first took care of their kittens, making sure they arrived inside the home that took care of them as strays visiting the porch. They're not the first cat parents who took care of the kittens first, but it's such a rare and wholesome sight that we have to share it with you all here. And the cat couple? Oh, they're definitely getting adopted as well.

Why should these undervalued employees stay when their narcissistic CEO never has words of encouragement for them?
