You would think that bosses would want employees to be as comfortable as possible, but unsurprisingly, money is generally much more important to them.

As someone who has never actually lost a cat, the thought is absolutely terrifying. Our cats are seniors by now. We pretend that we don't see it on them, we live in denial on purpose, but we do see it. If you wondered what happened to the kitten who was rescued from its in-wall hiding spot, then strap in for a wild ride of feline frivolity.

It was a tense start to this story, having our feline protagonist stuck in a wall. But once he was freed from his wall captivity it gave his new pawrent time to try and rescue the rest of the kitten's family. A task that proved to be a fair bit more tricky than was initially anticipated which momentarily made our heroic hooman lose hope that he would ever manage to reunite this feline family. This led him to make an interesting decision in order to try and keep his wall kitten company.

For while the kitten's family would have made the best company, with them unavailable, this hooman went out and adopted a beautiful void to come and be this kitten's sibling. And much to our satisfaction the pair got on like a house on fire. Which gave our rescuer the time needed to slowly coax the rest of this kitten's family into the safety of captivity and onwards to foster homes that would love and care for them the way they deserved. 
 

A friendly favor should solve a temporary problem, not create a long-term responsibility. And seven months doesn't exactly sound short-term to me.

It's good to be there for your friends when they need help. We all need a hand sometimes, and life feels more manageable when you have people around who support you. Often, good friends make you feel you're not dealing with life alone. But being a good friend doesn't mean helping indefinitely, without limits, and at the cost of your own well-being. Think about it, cats and chickens should be meowrtal enemies. One is the hunter, the other is prey. And yet, this farmer's black cat gave birth to an adorable litter of kittens in the chicken coop, and her hen friends are helping co-pawrent her babies. You could call them their loving "Aunties", which we think is just too cute. All squished together in the chicken coop, the hens take turns watching the kittens as they begin to learn about the world around them, and momma cat gets to take an extra nap or two.

It just goes to beg the question - if cats and chickens can get along, why can't we?

Not every betrayal comes with a loud argument. Sometimes, it comes with silence.

Things can rarely go back to the way they were when you open up to someone, and they don't protect your vulnerability. Trust is fragile; once it's broken, it's hard to rebuild. Besides, confronting people is not always the best option. When trust is gone, you may not feel like explaining it to them. And you might not even be interested in continuing the friendship anymore. Felines are known for being master meownipulators and convincing other families that they're poor, sad stray cats that need their love, even when they have a purrfectly good family back home. At one point, we discovered that one of our cats (who would always find a way to sneak out no matter how much we tried to keep her in) had three other families who took care of her. What a greedy kitty!

It's not just hissterical house cats who purrticipate in the "not my cat" phenomenon. Street cats will often decide that they're living in your house, sneak in, charm you until you decide to adopt them, and then all of a sudden, you have a pet cat. These "not my cats" are the sneakiest, but also the cutest. They come in, purr, love on you, sleep on the edge of your bed, and slowly, you fall in love with them.
