One demanding guest was absolutely furious after they were told by an employee to wait a moment. The reason the employee (OP) couldn't talk was because they were working a short-staffed shift at the hotel. Vet visits. Almost every cat's nightmare. And therefore, almost every cat person's nightmare. Our cats are always trying to run away from the vet because they are freaking out. We are constantly meeting crazy cat people at the vet's office. We're not judging. Considering how nervous we are, we're probably crazy cat people when we're at the vet's too, but still. Going to the vet's with your cat is a whole experience. It's always rough. For a million reasons. But we do it because we have to, because we need to make sure that our little furbabies are okay, no matter how much it costs, mentally or financially.

So to think that sometimes, these extremely stressful, difficult, mildly terrifying, often very expensive cat visits can be because our cats just… needed to fart… Consider us relieved, very relieved, very happy, but also in a whole lot of hilarious pain.

Traveling with a work colleague sounds fun in theory, but most people would prefer traveling alone to having to deal with the office prankster. It sounds like this guy was universally unliked by everyone at work, yet somehow, he didn't really catch on because he still kept on being annoying. On the one hand, you have to hand it to him for leaning in and being himself. On the other, you'd think this guy would try to be ever so slightly more considerate in order to be ever so slightly more enjoyable to be around. But clearly, that's not this kind of guy.

Living with roommates can be tough, even more so when one of the people living there also happens to own the home. They're more than likely to be less tolerant and more particular about having things a certain way and when they want it—even though they're the ones who decided to have roommates for the additional income in the first place. Still, to an extent, it's understandable; nothing in this life is free or comes easy; there's a lot of cost involved when it comes to owning a home. First and foremost, there's a mortgage that needs to be serviced to keep the bank from reclaiming the place; then, there's property tax to be paid, along with any number of costly repairs, insurance, and other bills. 

So, then, if your roommate were to purchase the home the pair of you were living in, it would be outrageous to expect that you could live there for free. Except, that's inexplicably what this roommate expected when she excitedly announced that she couldn't wait to not have to pay rent anymore. It's hard to know what she was thinking since even your own spouse or partner would be expected to contribute to the cost of owning a home if they moved in to cohabitate for the first time…

Sitting or not sitting, cats are the silliest pets we have ever encountered.

There is just something about the fact that these little creatures are incredibly unbothered 90% of the time, and then at the other 10%, they are just in a pure chaos state. You would look at your cats and they would be sleeping like they do most of the day, then you look away for 30 seconds and suddenly they are stuck behind the fridge and are screaming hysterically. 

Plus, do not get us started on their sitting positions, we can have a whole showcase of unhinged feline sitting positions. There is the 'if it fits I sits' position, usually involving a cardboard box, there is the loaf position, and of course, there is the hissterical man-spreading position that inspired this Reddit thread that you are about to scroll through.

We are not having a good day. In fact, we are incredibly grumpy. Everything that could have gone wrong, has. The bus was late, it was raining and we forgot our umbrella, our earphones got lost on the way to work, and our boss gave us two additional projects that we just did not have the time for. We spent the past few days snuggled up under the warm covers with Spock and Leo, our two adorable cats. It was so cold outside that actual icicles formed under our windows. We could barely take our fluffy dogs out for a walk, that is how cold it was. But what can you do? When you have pets, they have needs, so we bravely put on our big, fluffy coats and took them outside so that they could breathe some fresh air, play in the snow, and do their daily duties.

You had better be careful when you are sharing your screen in a meeting. So many team members eyeballs on you. This CEO has never heard of the phrase "teamwork makes the dream work." He seems to think he's the only person in the entire company who knows how things should be done. 

People with big egos like that can be really hard to get along with. These people didn't get to be the CEOs and COOs of companies without a little bravado. There is something about those extremely sophisticated petty revenge stories, that are just so satisfying to read. Because really, all you need in order to get back at someone is just a bit of creativity and courage, and you can get away with the funniest little tricks.

Here is the perfect example of one. This employee told Reddit about how they got back at an unreasonable boss who kept giving employees bad reviews for no reason. Instead of causing a scene, or threatening to quit, OP came up with a petty revenge that would keep them in the clear but will give them enough satisfaction.
