Tangerino really went from Florida street cat to full international traveler in record time. One minute he was a community TNR cat hanging around outside, and the next he was making a two-day journey across cars, planes, boats, and trains all the way to England. That is an unbelievable upgrade for one little orange guy who originally just decided to follow somebody home.

After some Facebook searching and getting approval from his feeder, the rescue mission officially started. Then came all the chaos of carrier training, harness practice, changed flights, and of course one final street fight right before departure because orange cats always seem determined to keep life stressful until the very end.

Now Tangerino is curled up beside a heating pad adjusting from Florida heat to English weather like a tiny tourist completely unprepared for winter. It is a pretty huge lifestyle change after spending so much time outside fighting, sleeping on sidewalks, and surviving however he could.

The best part is knowing he never has to go back to that life again. No more fleas, mosquitoes, dirt, or worrying about his next meal. Now he gets warmth, safety, naps, and somebody who clearly loves him enough to bring him across the ocean just to make sure he gets the life he deserves.

The closer it gets to the weekend, the more healing silly cat memes become. 

Furiday feels like the perfect time to slow the brain down a little and enjoy some completely unserious cat memes. The only fate we believe in is feline fate, and that's because we've seen too many kitty rescue stories to believe otherwise. The cats either escape or are dumped in a random location (rarely, they are "stolen" by feline enthusiasts who are willing to give them a better home), and then wait for the right purrson to come along. It's a sad life, but it's the unfortunate reality we live in.

But like we said, we believe in the Cat Distribution System and its all-powerful fateful feline forces, and Noodle's story just confirms it. Noodle, a sweet, sensitive cat was literally thrown out the window of a car while driving through a neighborhood. We don't know anything about his previous family, but we think it's safe to assume that anyone who would throw their cat out of a vehicle is horrible. Stick with us, we're getting to our point, that is this: sometimes, something horrible has to happen in order to get you to where you're truly supposed to be. And Noodle's place was with the purrson he ran up to after being abandoned, who immediately fell in love with his charm. Not to mention his awwdorably fluffy face!

If they hadn't abandoned him, Noodle might still be living with a family who doesn't love him, instead of curled up with his new pawrent who cares for him like their own son. The process may have been painful, but in the end, he found his home furrever.

Our pets are more than just playful and fun; they really have animal instincts to help us.

After living in a hardware store, this kitty became a new hoMEOWner (and a mama!). 

A cat used to be a skittish, scaredy-cat outside the local hardware store, but then one day, a cat lover and loyal customer noticed a big difference. As if she had grown tired of a life on the street, this kitty flipped a friendly feline switch and came running to a kindhearted hooman, meowing for aid and hoping they'd help her. Turns out, this kitty wasn't just looking for a new home for herself, but her 5 kittens as well.

Unlike dogs, who wag their tails with every stranger, cats have a select few human friends who deserve every ounce of their love. This kitten, a once lonely tabby cat, was afraid of the humans before she felt life inside her tummy. One tiny kitten on the side of the road really managed to completely change somebody's entire day. At first it probably felt like one of those moments where you stop to help for a minute and then continue on with life, but kittens rarely work that way. The second this little guy let himself get picked up, everything changed. Tiny kittens that young really depend on somebody noticing them and stepping in to help.

He sounds like he adjusted to indoor life almost immediately. A bath, wet food, cuddles, and using the litter box right away makes it seem like he had experience around people before all of this happened. Some kittens stay terrified for days, but this little guy already sounds comfortable, relaxed, and happy to be around humans. The cuddly personality definitely did not help the emotional attachment situation either.

It is also very easy to understand how this turned into instant love. Tiny kittens somehow have a way of taking over emotionally within a few hours. One minute somebody is rescuing a cat because it feels like the right thing to do, and the next they are already hoping their partner agrees to keeping him forever. Honestly, this little fluffy guy already sounds completely settled in.

At this point, it feels less like a temporary rescue and more like the beginning of a very spoiled indoor cat life.

What does your purrfect future look like?

If money was no object, we would be living in a mansion somewhere outside the city, with all the cats we could pawssibly adopt. We would turn the mansion and the land around it into a cat sanctuary and rescue. No people around to bother us, just us, our partner, and our giant feline family to care for. 

Unfortunately, money is still crucial to our survival, so that dream isn't looking like it's getting any closer. Vet visits are more expensive than they were a few years ago, and things in general are getting more costly. With all the stuff going on in the world right now, it's easy to start to feel like everything is pointless. 

But, we have one very impurrtant thing to tell you: life may look purrticularly bleak right now, but as long as there are cats, there is still hope.

Because of our cats, we've gotten through some of the ruffest points in our lives. They saved us when we cried for days after breakups, calmed us down when we were in between jobs, and gave us a reason to get out of bed every meowrning. Because of them, we truly live. All to give them the best life we can.

So, yes, your present may not look great. Welcome to the club, snacks are on the left. But as long as we have our cute cat kiddos, some hissterical feline posts to scroll through, and a dream, we know that we can make it through another day. And every day is one step closer to living alone, in a mansion, with just our cats. Anything is pawssible!

We all have morning routines that we cherish and enjoy.

Our current favorite morning routine is a combination of the few we described above. First, we give our beloved kitten a final cuddle, then get out of bed to brush our teeth to start the day refreshed. After that, we will slowly head to the kitchen and fix ourselves with the best cup of coffee in the world. Then, we take our phones, sit comfortably on the couch alongside our purrfect companion, with our freshly-brewed cup of coffee, and start scrolling our way through the best cat memes on the internet, to ensure we start the day with a smile on our faces. 

This routine ensures we feel clean, energized, and gleeful first thing in the morning, so we do not intend to change it anytime soon.
