Brother-in-law tries to “flex” promotion by insisting on paying for family breakfast, only to immediately complain about the bill: 'It's the 2nd most expensive thing on the breakfast menu'

Fail Blog - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 16:15
Aren't we all just a hash brown away from family drama?

What seemed to be a joyful and unexpected family breakfast gathering turns into a massive disagreement when the bill comes back higher than expected (at least, for half the party). Here's the context: A sibling, their sister, and their brother-in-law decided to go out to their usual diner to have some breakfast. Here's the thing, though: The sibling is usually the one to pick up the bill (for the past 8 years, may we add). This might already be a problem starter on its own, as efforts might feel a little unbalanced.

Money has always been a delicate subject, especially when it comes to family and friends. This story is certainly not the exception. Let's just be glad that there is some love involved in this unfortunate encounter. However, there are two perspectives here: when someone invites you to do anything, it might be polite to hold back on the expenses a bit, out of consideration. Nonetheless, if you have been the one paying the bills no questions asked, it feels like you get a free pass when it comes to testing the other side of the waters.

Little black kitten stranded in a tree above the water ends up nestled in a fisherman's lap after he brings him safely aboard his kayak

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 16:00
A black kitten stranded in a tree above the water was an unexpected passenger for a fishing kayak. The fisherman went in search of fish and ended up

Before the cat rescue, however, the fisherman heard a conversation and thought it was a catfish, not an actual cat. To his surprise, he found a real cat. Another fisherman had mentioned a cat in a tree shortly before he got on the water, and he assumed the stranger meant a catfish caught on discarded fishing line. He hadn't understood that the warning was about an animal needing help, and that it concerned a kitten. To his surprise, he heard a kitten meowing from afar. "That guy was talking about an actual cat," he said. All of a sudden, the earlier conversation made sense. Somewhere among the branches over the water was a small animal asking for help. The fisherman decided to get on his kayak and explore the water to save that kitty.

No one would ever expect to find a kitten beneath the highway bridge, between rocks and tangled branches. That's not a place for a kitten. Poor little one; he must have been so scared. How did he end up there? Fortunately, the fisherman finds him, and the kitten makes it aboard, safe and sound. After the fisherman welcomes the little passenger aboard, it nestles between his legs, and they head together safely back to shore. Now, the fisherman's next mission is to find the baby cat a home.

5 tiny kittens rescued from a heartbreaking start make an incredible transformation surrounded by love

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 15:15
You'd never know from these photos just how rough things started for these five kittens.

Reddit user Gonkalicious_2176 shared the litter's story on r/FosterAnimals after taking on their first experience fostering this many kittens at such a young age. A friend had spotted a Facebook post looking for someone to take the motherless litter, and they agreed to help.

Thank goodness they did.

One kitten had already passed away before they arrived, leaving five babies behind. The remaining kittens were found alone in a box on the porch, filthy and severely underfed. Three were desperately begging for food, while the two white kittens, Molly and Maggie, were unconscious. Their breathing was the only indication they were still alive.

This is where things get pretty incredible.

The kittens were rushed home, and sugar rubbed onto Molly and Maggie's gums helped revive them. Going from barely clinging on to becoming healthy little kittens is one heck of a glow-up, and their foster family deserves plenty of credit for getting them there.

There was apparently a lot of trial and error along the way. This wasn't a household accustomed to caring for a litter of five fragile babies, but giving up clearly wasn't an option.

Now Simba, King, Cali, Molly, and Maggie are 8 weeks old and thriving. They have toys to attack, wet food to devour, and their first round of vaccines behind them. Basically, they're finally getting to worry about normal kitten things instead of survival.

Their foster says the experience has become the highlight of their year, and we can see why.

Watching five tiny kittens go from such a rough beginning to growing stronger every day has to make every sleepless night worth it.

Photographer aunt gets blamed by the bride for not taking pictures during the wedding party, even though she was explicitly told not to even bring her camera: 'She's livid that I didn't document the wedding the way I normally document family events'

Fail Blog - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 15:00
If you told me several times not to do something, I'm not going to go against your wishes. Especially at your wedding…

If I were told a thousand times NOT to do something, you can be sure that I'm not going to do it. I don't know if that is just the kind of person I am or if it's common sense. In whichever case. I do believe there is no need to tell someone that they shouldn't do something if, in the end, you are gonna wish they had. Be straight with your ideas and what you say. Nobody knows how to read minds. Maybe someone does, but that is not something you should be expecting people to do. It's just a type of entitlement to assume that people are going to do exactly what you want, even if you didn't tell them to. Especially if you explicitly told them not to. You should be mad at them if they did something that you told them not to, not if they obey your wishes.

In this story, my first thought is that people need to get better at communicating in that family. There is no need to be so weird. Secondly, I thought that if I had a family member who was a photographer, I would love it if they offered to take the wedding pictures of the wedding as a gift. It would mean that the pictures would most likely be the way I want them to be, as this person knows me much better than any other photographer that I could hire. But I do know that sometimes that doesn't go very well, so I also understand the bride asking her aunt to get involved in the picture-taking part and to just enjoy the wedding.

In general, I have a lot of thoughts about this particular story, but they can all be summed up in this: the bride is entitled. She expected her aunt, whom she explicitly told multiple times not to take pictures, to have taken photos of the wedding. She told her she didn't want that. Why would she now be mad that she complied with what she was asked? She is a bridezilla, full and full!

Fresh Flower Garden of 26 Feline Funnies to Bloom Up Your Friday

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 14:30
A cat meme bouquet of bundled joy.

Cats make our souls bloom. With every headbutt bonk they give, every slow blink they grace us with, every ridiculous zoomies session in odd hours of the night, they tend to something inside us we didn't even know needed tending. Cats the gardeners of happiness, planting little seeds of joy in the human mind and somehow always knowing exactly when we need a fresh fountain of laughter to get us through the day. And they take care of that every day.

And they don't just plant and forget - they nurture. With their own green paw, cats water and harvest a kind of joy that only grows when it's shared with them. It's a two-way garden: you fill the food bowl, they fill your heart. This creates a whole ecosystem of affection that flourishes like a symbiotic relationship of pure purring joy. That's the real meowgic of bringing a cat home - you're not just adopting a pet, you're planting something that keeps blooming for years. And that something is the best friendship you'll probably ever harvest.

Even scrolled through a screen, that happiness doesn't wilt one bit. Bundle it all into a bouquet of cat memes, like the ones waiting for you below, and all that cat joy still shines through - bright, unbothered, and warm, like sunlight falling just right on a colorful bed of flowers. So grab your favorite watering can (or coffee mug, because that's the obvious choice to water your mind) and let's scroll through this warm and sunlit field of feline funnies. Friday's about to bloom - cat style.

Racetrack worker finds a tiny black kitten on the site, and by the time he and his girlfriend get around to whether they can afford a fourth cat, Bean's already decided she's staying.

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 13:45
Some cats adopt themselves, even if they need the initial push to start the process.

Most people decide they want to adopt a cat. They go to the shelter, or search online in local Facebook groups if anyone is trying to find forever homes for a litter of kittens that was born in their backyard, for example. But it's the human part of the equation that usually takes the charge and tries to actively search for a cat to add to the family. But that's not the case with some cats who are being adopted, because they simply adopt themselves. It doesn't matter what's the living or financial situation of the person, the cat has made up their mind - and they're staying.

When a cat adopts themselves, it's an unmistakable step by the notorious Cat Distribution System. This mysterious whatever-they-are seems to install a software update in the cat that sends the command to be adopted by their designated person - attributed to them by the CDS, of course. They do this matchmaking between the purrfect cat and the perfect person. And when it's about the cat who decides they're staying - it's even stronger than usual.

And that's what happened with the now-cat of u/Rotenmango. But there was one small difference, probably instigated by the CDS as an initial push toward the self-adoption of this tiny black kitten, now known as Bean. She was filmed by u/Rotenmango's boyfriend at his workplace, making him decide to at least help the little one. But now? Well, it seems like she's going to join a family full of feline friends and two loving hooman pawrents.

‘I hate her fiancé, I think he’s a waste of space and honestly a rock has more personality than him’: 31-year-old woman looks for advice on how to discourage her best friend from getting married

Fail Blog - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 13:00
At one point, we all had a friend or family member whom we thought was trapped in a very bad relationship

It's obvious from the outside: the person isn't good for our friend, plus being in a relationship isn't mandatory; they can totally do life on their own and avoid unnecessary suffering, but when you are the person in a relationship like this, everything is much more complex.

It's like that metaphor people use of the boiling frogs. Bad things don't happen right from the beginning, and they also don't happen all at once. They usually come mixed with very good moments, nice trips, beautiful gestures, and one is often too deep in the relationship to back out once they start becoming more frequent.

Back-to-school routine ends in panic after dad leaves 7-year-old son home alone for 3 hours, then blames his wife for not reminding him about drop-off: 'Dad just left me!'

Fail Blog - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 12:15
Back-to-school routines are back, and so are the parents adjusting to the new schedules and responsibilities. Drop-off is at 8, so you get the kids up at 7, make breakfast, pack lunch, and then go. But every family's morning routine is different.

A Reddit user, Kristaboo14, shared a misunderstanding that happened in her family during the school routine. She is a working mom, and for the past three years, she has worked in the office every Friday. She leaves at 6, before anyone else wakes up, to begin work at 7. During that entire time, her husband has taken their 7-year-old son to school on Fridays. His schedule has recently changed because he now has a new job, but his shift doesn't begin until 9… This made him responsible for taking their son to school on Fridays.

He forgot about school drop-off and went to work like any other day, leaving his son at home alone. The working mom found out about this when the school sent her an absence alert. Naturally, she panicked, and a lot of things came to her mind, except that the father had forgotten to take him to school. The worst of it all is that when she confronted him, the father's only argument for leaving his son alone all morning was, "Why didn't you remind me of this?"

The mom's reaction, my reaction, and everyone else's reaction is the same: Are you even serious??? Even if his new schedule created some uncertainty, he was the last adult in the house. Can't you send a text to clarify everything before you leave? And didn't it seem strange that your son was still at home by the time you were heading out?

'He's obsessed with my husband': Pawrent's cats spot a 5-week-old kitten in the backyard, discover he's partially blind, then watches the rescue mission become a love story as the kitten becomes smitten with her husband

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 12:00
What's the biggest green flag a guy can have? Being loved by cats. There is no other answer.

There are a lot of good qualities to look for in a partner. Some people really value bravery and courage - someone who will stand up for others to help the people they care about feel safe. Others will search for a partner who is a provider. But when I was looking for my purrfect partner, there was one thing that I knew I needed in order for it to be right - he needed to be loved by cats. Not just someone who loves cats, but someone that felines instinctively feel is approachable and trustworthy.

For all of us who have lived with and know cats, you know how rare a purrsonality trait that is. That purrson needs to be soft and inviting, but not a pushover. They need to be compassionate and kind, and have a belief that even the smallest creatures are worthy of our love. I knew my husband was the one when, the first time he met my cat (I only had one back then), she immediately went up and laid on his lap. She's not purrticularly fond of strangers, and usually hides when someone new enters the house. She was curious and trusted him within seconds of meeting him.

These kinds of men are rare, but if you find one as a cat purrson, you know they're already leagues above most other guys. And, thanks to the kitten rescue video posted on @jacnpat's Instagram page, we can safely say that we found another one. A pawrent's cats found a 5-week-old kitten in their backyard, and were thankfully able to rescue him. Naming him Bjorn, they realized he was half-blind and desperately in need of some help. What helped baby Bjorn feel safe and comfortable, nearly immediately? Her husband. He became obsessed with him instantly.

Their rescue mission turned into the most wholesome love story, and it's just beautiful to watch. Scroll down to watch these hoomans and their feline family welcome Bjorn into their hearts and home!

9 kittens and their momma found dumped under a dumpster in freezing weather, are offered shelter by a cat-loving couple, who take care of them until every last one finds a home: 'Momma was so tired from the constant nursing'

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 11:15
Dumping a new cat mom with her 9 babies out in freezing weather is simply cruel.

Being a new cat mom is hard enough. Litters are rarely just one baby. Far more often than not, these new moms have many mouths to feed and wiggling fluffballs to keep in line. We see it in our everyday lives. If you've ever adopted or fostered a cat who had just given birth, you know these mommas need breaks. These mommas bring their babies to you to take over babysitting duties. They have to teach their kiddos how to drink water without getting it up their nose. They have to teach them how to eat, and if they puke, then how to puke exactly on the carpet and nowhere else. they have to show them exactly how to treat their humans, how to make sure we're good servants for them. Motherhood is hard in every species. It's the greatest challenge there is. Being with a human makes the whole thing so much easier… if that human is a kind one.

The cat in this story was dumped by a not-so-kind human. This momma cat was sweet, gentle. She didn't deserve to be taken out of the warm home that she was in with her nine babies in her paws and dumped under a dumpster in freezing weather. No cat would deserve this, of course, but especially not one who had already been taken off the street once, a cat who already knew the care, the life, that humans could provide. It's easy to get used to a good thing, and she was used to it and then had it taken away from her. She was strong, though. This is one cat who was not going to give up, not on herself and not on a single one of her babies. She kept her babies alive and as healthy as she could until she was found. Nine tiny lives, dependent entirely on someone who was not ready for it, and she did amazing. And when she was finally found for the second time, she was found by actual good people.

Homeowner finds strangers trespassing in the elaborate yard his wife spent years gardening after mistaking it for a public park: 'I notice a baby sitting in the flower bed’

Fail Blog - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 10:45
Years of gardening turned one couple's yard into something beautiful enough for a stranger to mistake it for a neighborhood park.

I can imagine how I would feel if I came home one day and saw strangers enjoying - and destroying - my beautiful garden. The problem is not that they thought that this was a public park… Honestly, I'd feel good about my gardening skills if I were told this. The problem was that people didn't realize how hard it was to get in. According to the story, they had to walk through parked cars and two gates to access the yard.

But imagine that maybe a public park has that amount of security… fine. Don't you see that's next to a house? And what about the parked cars? I don't get it, truly.

I'm getting mad, but I have two things to add. Firstly, these people weren't being careful about keeping the place nice and as pretty as they found it. And more importantly, if this garden was indeed a public one, you should be twice as careful and not let your kid destroy the planted flowers. Secondly, when the man asked them what they were doing in his garden, their response was mean and disrespectful! Come on, you have to understand that this is not a place for you to sit and enjoy the day!

After this anecdote, I'm sure that the homeowners decided to put up a fence claryfing that's private property, because I wouldn't imagine how crazy it would be to come home every day and find strangers in your yard.

Now, how pretty that garden must be, and how good his wife should be at gardening, for having people mistake it for a public place? I'm sure it must be beautiful indeed, and as I said at the top, I'd feel good about myself and take this trespassing problem as a good compliment! But only after I got angry at the ugly response they gave…

Abandoned kitten approaches mother and kids at a bus stop, the kids instantly fall in love with her and convince mom to adopt her, and the 10-year-old is so inspired she decides to become a vet

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 10:30
Having pets when we are young is something that shapes who we are as people.

Adopting a cat for your child is not just something cute and fun. It's something that will have an influence on their lives for the rest of their lives. Cats do not let people roll over them. They have standards. They have demands. Cats train their humans just as much as we train them. They teach us… they teach us to be patient, they teach us to be gentle, they teach us how to love without pressure, to be kind and to let people come to us when they are ready. Adopting a cat for your child means teaching them all of this when they are very young. And that makes a difference.

Of course, adopting a cat also means adopting a little chaos machine. But 3 AM zoomies are something that will bond your kids with your cats even more. It seems like such a simple thing - to adopt a cat. But even I, as someone who didn't have cats growing up, have learned so much from them once I finally took that step. I think having a cat made me a better person. And although it seems that the kids in today's story are already pretty good kids, growing up with a cat will only make them better.

Woman hides inside her house when 2 friends show up with a third person she specifically told them she had cut off: ‘I feel guilty at hiding as if I wasn't home but felt the other two keep disrespecting my feelings about the 3rd one’

Fail Blog - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 10:00
There is no way this was done with good intent

Or maybe it was done with good intentions, but intentions aren't what counts. Concrete actions count, and these actions are rather questionable.

Maybe they couldn't find another way to try to convince their friend to forgive this third person, but if they couldn't find a way other than forcefully inviting him into their home, maybe it was because there wasn't one. And it doesn't have to be one.

Sometimes we don't want to forgive a person, and luckily, we don't have to. We're allowed to decide who gets to have a place in our lives, and that place is sacred.

Frankly, after this incident, I would question the place the other two people have in the unsuspecting host's life.

Guilt is not always an emotion one should listen to. Sometimes it's there to remind us that we've done something bad, but other times it's there because we don't know how else to process an ugly emotion we're feeling.

We don't need an excuse to refuse to open our door to someone we don't want to let in. Simply not wanting to is a completely valid reason. It's not really necessary to overexplain ourselves, especially if the ones listening would be those who forcefully brought an unwelcome guest to our home in the first place.

That said, this incident deserves a follow-up, but I don't know which would be best. Should she simply tell them she wasn't home and ignore it altogether? Or should she confront them about what they did?

I'm not sure somebody who does something like this deserves to explain themselves over conversation to begin with, but that's just me.

30-year-old man spends his Sunday peacefully gardening and mowing his lawn, only for his older neighbor's daughters to end up accusing him of being inconsiderate and ruining the weekend with their dad

Fail Blog - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 08:15
Mowing the lawn makes quite a bit of noise, and it can be a bit annoying sometimes, but giving your neighbor nasty looks for taking care of his property is simply ridiculous.

Yet, that is exactly what happened. A man was doing some gardening chores around his own house, more specifically, mowing the lawn, like he does every Sunday. No neighbor has a problem with that, since it's part of the weekly routine. But this time, one of his neighbors' daughters was visiting and having a pool party right before the end of summer. The neighbor, Daniel, has never had an issue with the noise of the lawn mower, but his daughters do. They approached the man mowing his lawn to tell him that he was making too much noise, that he was inconsiderate, and that he had ruined their weekend with their dad, since they couldn't hear the music they were playing. He quickly apologized, but it wasn't enough for the two women. Daniel, on the other hand, was not upset at all and even tried to put in a good word for him to his daughters, but they weren't having any of it.

It's understandable that the daughters were upset over the noise if what they wanted was to spend a peaceful and relaxing day, but if that was the case, they could have kindly asked the neighbor to tone it down a little bit for a few hours. Accusing him of being inconsiderate and being impolite to him, even after he apologized and their father interceded for him, is a childish and immature way of behaving. The neighbour is not a mind reader, and he had no way of knowing that Daniel's family was visiting. In fact, as we mentioned, he apologized for the noise. He was not entitled or inconsiderate to them, so the daughter's reaction is greatly exaggerated. We feel bad for Daniel having to deal with such capricious daughters, but there's no going around it; he raised them after all.

27 Cozy Feline Funnies to Keep You Warm Through the Chilly Autumn Days

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 08:00
Fall is here, and that means that it's officially time to curl up with a blanket, a hot cocoa and come purrfect cat memes.

Fall. Oh, how happy we are that fall is here. Sure, summer is fabulous in its own ways. Ice cream, iced coffee, beach days, that's all great. But there is nothing that we love more in this world than being able to sit down at home, curled up under a blanket, with our cats by our sides, rain softly tapping the window in front of us, a cup of hot cocoa in one of our hands and a bunch of wholesome cat memes in the other. That's… purrfect. The simple things in life bring us the most joy, we think, and those things are nearly always the cute cats we see on the internet.

And yes, it's early fall right now. Maybe there are some places in the world where the cold hasn't quite hit yet. But it doesn't matter. The vibes are already here, and however how we might be, we will sit down with that hot cocoa and those silly cat memes. Those are the rules of fall, and we are not the ones who made them. We just benifit off them.

Employee got his hours cut and gave them to the owner’s nephew, now they want him to go on weekends, but he already has a new job: ‘If your nephews are so amazing, why aren't you calling them to cover the weekend?'

Fail Blog - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 07:30
Nepo babies can be found EVERYWHERE. Even at your job!

You can be at the most normal job ever, like a family restaurant, and you may still find yourself being a victim of nepotism. Some brother, sister, or nephew appears in the shop one day, and suddenly they become manager and start bossing you around. They have been at the job for 2 months, and you have been there since the beginning. Nothing matters. They are close to the owner, so they get all the benefits without nearly doing any effort. They are just "lucky". Or at least that's what they tell themselves to avoid explaining that they just went over actually good employees and stole their benefits from them because they are family.

Hiring family is probably the worst thing you can do for your business. They may not work hard enough, and you can't say anything without creating a family feud. They may be dumb or awful at their tasks, and you can't fire them. And they may ask for a raise, and you have to give it to them to avoid more family issues. So why would somebody even do that? I get the whole helping out family. But there is a difference between giving someone you know a job and making them manager or giving them the best hours over other employees just because you know them. Like the people in the story below did.

When you manage your business badly and do things like prioritizing family members over great employees, you get a bad business. The family won't work as hard as any other employee. You will regret having hired them in the first place. And it would be too late. The great employees may have even left because you, the owner, decided that people who don't have any abilities on the job deserved better hours and positions just because they are family. When there was a great employee who did, in fact, deserve it in the first place. So next time you are thinking about hiring a family member, think harder. I promise you it's not the great idea you think.

25 Cozy Cats to Curl Up With When the World Feels Too Loud

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 07:15
We all need rest – a reset, a washing over of the difficult, tumultuous, or hard times, and what better way than with soft and sleepy kitties?

Soft and sleepy kitties work wonders on our brains. When we need a cute little dopamine hit of cat memes, they really pull through. They're instantly and easily accessible, and they do the trick every time. In a world that constantly pushes for productivity, movement, and output, it's easy to forget that rest is not just a luxury, it's a necessity. People are not designed to run endlessly without a break. Just like anything else, we need moments to slow down, reset, and simply exist without pressure. Without those pauses, even small tasks can begin to feel overwhelming, and the mind grows tired in a way that sleep alone doesn't always provide. Rest doesn't have to look like a full day off or a long vacation. Sometimes it's found in small crevices, soft moments, tiny breaks that interrupt the chaos of the day.

Scrolling through sleepy cat memes is surprisingly purrfect for a brain break. There's something calming about watching cats rest. Their squinted eyes, their soft and gentle purrs, and the way they stick their tongues out when they're totally comfortable. A kitten curled into a purrfect little ball, a fluffy cat stretched out in a sunbeam, or a chubby tabby loafing peacefully on a blanket. These images rekindle a sense of natural pleasure, they just give us a comfortable image of stillness.

Massachusetts homeowner returns home from vacation and discovers a massive gash carved into their tree: ‘It's intentional, man-made damage’

Fail Blog - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 06:45
A week away was all it took for one homeowner to return to a tree bearing a mysterious new scar…

A Massachusetts homeowner was happy to return home from a long vacation. They enjoyed the summer and decided it was a good time to come home and start getting ready to get into a routine again. Right when they were approaching their house, they could see that the tree they share with one of their neighbors had a huge gash that, of course, wasn't there when they left.

They were desperate: they had read all of the stories about other people returning home from vacation and finding gardens, trees, or homes destroyed. And they were upset that it was them, this time. Immediately, they knew that someone did this, not only because of the position the gash was located, but because it was a small neighborhood.

The tree is located 2.5ft from the curb of the street, and their home is 5 feet away from it. They had security cameras, but when they checked, they realized that they didn't show the vandal or what really happened there.

After giving some extra thought, the homeowner realized that maybe their neighbor was the one who injured the tree. According to what they said, the neighbor complained about the tree and how it blocked the view and things like that, so it's more than likely that it was him. But they don't have any proof that confirms this, so it's really a difficult situation.

Something important to talk about in these kinds of stories is how people return home from vacation and have to be paranoid about something bad happening. As the OP states in the story, they were reading things like this and weren't shocked when they understood it was their time. People should be more respectful of others' property, but not only that… this is a tree, a living being, and being respectful of nature is also important. We hope that those responsible for the damage can pay for their actions and help restore the tree.

September Cat Memes for Welcoming Sweater Weather With Open Paws

LOL Cats - Fri, 09/11/2026 - 06:30
Sweater weather > bikini weather.

The different seasons are for different people's preferences. Not everyone is built for intense, scorching, sweating summers, and not everyone is built for cold, bone-chilling, icy winters. The globe offers an array of weather, and if you're lucky, you just might be born somewhere that matches your preferences and temperament perfectly. Not everyone is afforded this kind of weather purrfection, but if you are then you might want to scroll cat memes. Depending on where you are in the world, you might be experiencing the first breezes of autumn air, the taste of crisp cold weather, and you might even be unlocking the chest under your bed filled with scarves, fuzzy socks, and sweaters for the first time in months. You might also still be sun tanning and going to the beach, but no matter where you are, it's still September. The weather is still in it's nascent stages of change, and cat memes are still here to welcome you (and the changing seasons) with open paws.

One thing about sweater weather that never gets old is that the leaves change along with your wardrobe. Seeing the changing weather, skies, colors in the air, and the temperature outside can be inspiring to want to make a change yourself. We do not get to say this enough but cat rescuers truly are the angels of the cat community. Going out into the community, providing food, medicine and occasionally trapping for TNR. They do the work not for the money but for the cats and as you will come to find in this story the things they come upon are truly incredible and could not have been handled better by anyone else. This feline family was luckier than most when it comes to rescues.

We have heard of cats being found at the bottom of bins, on top of roofs and pretty much any other place you can imagine. But in the trunk of an abandoned car is certainly a first. This scary situation was come upon by a couple of cat rescuers who were out on a daily feeding route. giving the strays of the area something to keep them going while also getting a count on the number of cats currently in the local area. But when they saw one of these felines leap through a tiny crevice into a car they suspected there was something going on.

And it turns out they were very much right to suspect that something was going on as this cat was hiding two purrecious kittens in the car's trunk. A trunk that was beginning to cook and turn into an oven. With no simple way to open the trunk our rescuers had to put their heads together and macgyver their way to opening it. But what they found evidence of in the car is truly unreal.
