22 Calming Cat Memes for Kindhearted Cuties Who Want to Feel Cozy Today

LOL Cats - Fri, 03/20/2026 - 07:00
Another day of madness in the world, but we have cat memes right here to make us happy.

Whenever the world goes a little crazier than normal - which is quite often lately - we turn to the one thing on the internet that makes us happy. Cats. No matter what is happening, we know for a fact that the cat side of the internet will be as active as ever. There will be cute pictures of cats posted every day, there will be wholesome stories about cats shared at every possible opportunity, and there will be cat memes. There will be so, so many cat memes

In fact, we think that the crazier the world gets, the more hilarious cat memes people post and share. Because we are not the only ones who need these cat memes for our mental health. We are not the only ones who go looking for them, hoping that more and more people will be sharing them. In times of chaos, cat memes are exactly what we need to make it through with our sanity intact. And that is why we, here at ICHC, put together as many of these collections as we can - for our mental well-being and for yours.

Hardworking 27-year-old stands up to her stepdad in front of her coworkers when he belittles her at a company event

Fail Blog - Fri, 03/20/2026 - 07:00
A parent should never belittle their grown-up daughter in the workplace, and yet this power-tripping stepdad saw his stepdaughter's work event as an opportunity to define her based on her rebellious teenage years.

Talk about living in the past!

Company demands employees pay for branded clothes, then forbids everyone from wearing them on shift: 'Wait, you thought you could actually wear the uniforms you paid for?'

Fail Blog - Fri, 03/20/2026 - 06:00
Many workplaces force their employees to pay for the uniform they must wear to work, but you don't hear a lot about a workplace that forces employees to pay for clothes and then forbids them from wearing them.

Yet that is exactly what the corporation below did. Workers at a restaurant received a message from corporate stating that they will order winter gear for staff and that every worker must pay for their own clothing. We're talking jackets, hoodies. fleeces, every single item costing around $40, which employee have to pay for out of their own pockets.

While it can be quite a costly expense, it is not unheard of for workers to have to pay for their own uniforms, so the employees complied and ordered the required clothes.

When the clothes arrived, corporate started singing a different tune. All of a sudden, the winter gear is not approved as part of the uniform. Employees cannot wear the clothes they paid for during their shifts; they can only wear them while they are off duty. Basically, the corporation wanted employees to promote the restaurant while they were off, and to do so at their own expense. The store management claimed they had no idea that this was the corportation's plan, but of course, by this point, it was too late, since no worker could get a refund, and everyone had to find another use for the gear they spent their hard-earned money on.

The audacity…

'Called to him and he immediately ran and took cover behind me': Person rushes to save a tiny kitten from a large aggressive cat, the kitten rewards her by following her home and adopting her furrever

LOL Cats - Fri, 03/20/2026 - 06:00
Do one act of kindness for a cat, and you might be chosen by them forever.

Cats remember kindness. They remember the humans who give them that kindness. We talk about it all the time. Cats domesticated themselves for a reason - they could tell that we, humans, have so much love to give and that we love giving it to them. You could feed a stray cat once, and it will keep coming back for a lifetime. You could let a stray cat sleep in your home one night in a storm, and it might never want to leave again. They know the humans who have their best interests at heart, and when they find humans like this, cats who are ready for a home do not let these humans go.

Of course, usually there is some build-up. Usually, it takes a while, especially for a stray cat, to decide to adopt a human. You might have to feed it a few times or save it from a few cold nights before it decides to stay. And sometimes, apparently, it can be instant. Apparently, some cats respond to your act of kindness immediately - by following you home and never, ever leaving again.

Employee gets caught after building an app to track how many times his coworkers say "circling back" in meetings

Fail Blog - Fri, 03/20/2026 - 05:00
This worker needed something to make his team meetings more bearable. When he built an app to count how many times per meeting his coworker used the phrase "circling back," he did much more than boost his own morale. He started a phenomenon.

One sad kitten remained after her entire litter got dumped in front of a pet store, until a chance visitor decided she wasn't leaving without her: 'The man said $50 and I replied, put her in a box'

LOL Cats - Fri, 03/20/2026 - 05:00
No one likes to be picked last, not even kittens. This kitten, now named 'Pooter', was the last kitten who remained from her litter that was abandoned in front of a pet store. A compassionate hooman saw them on a chance visit to their mom in the Midwest, and after seeing the sorry state Pooter was in, she couldn't resist bringing her home to make her part of the family.

When your first expurrience in life is being abandoned, it's hard to imagine that your life will be anything other than terrible. On top of that, you watch your brothers and sisters find their homes, while you remain alone in the pet store, with nothing but food, water, and a tiny scrap of gray cloth to keep you company. But you have to hold out because one day soon, a hooman will come and see your sadness, and decide that from that day on, you'll never be sad again.

We're happy to say that Pooter is now living her best life with her new pawrent. She enjoys a hearty piece of chimken and sitting on any available empty lap. Her furvorite activities are dinner prep and lounging in front of the fake fireplace. She gets entertainment from her pawrent's fish tank and is showered with love daily.

Pooter may have been the last one picked, but you know what they say, "Good things come to those who wait". And Pooter and her pawrent certainly seem good for each other.

27 Funniest Feline Posts for Purrfectly Proud (and Tired) Stay-At-Home Pawrents

LOL Cats - Fri, 03/20/2026 - 04:00
Being a parent is exhausting, whether it's to hooman kids, cat kids, or both.

Being a parent is one of the most rewarding things we've ever done in our lives. It's also one of the most tiring. Between the cats, kittens, and the kids, we haven't slept a full 8 hours in years, but that's okay. We get to come home every day to a family that showers us with love, in the form of hugs, meows, and cuddles.

We're lucky enough to be able to work from home, so technically, we're the stay-at-home pawrent, and we couldn't be prouder of it. We get to watch each family member, with both four legs and two, grow every day. We wouldn't trade it for the world.

That being said, it would be nice not to have dozens of cat toys to pick up every day, plus kids' toys, litter boxes to clean, meals to prepurr, and all the time being everyone's entertainment while trying to get our own work done. It's like working four jobs all at the same time.

But there are those rare meowments of silence where the cats are resting, the kids are napping, and we can enjoy some "me time". During those times, it's crucial that we do things that refill our battery so we can keep going throughout the day. Our choice? Cat memes. They make us laugh, require minimal brain power, and we can put them down at a moment's notice to go check on whatever infant or kitten needs our help.

For all you proud (and tired) stay-at-home pawrents, we see you, we're proud of you, and we hope you get a giggle out of these hissterical feline posts.

24 Black Cat Memes That Feel Slightly Cursed But Mostly Cute

LOL Cats - Fri, 03/20/2026 - 01:00
Black cats have a reputation for being a little spooky, but these memes prove they're just as cute as they are chaotic. From dramatic stares to unexplainable zoomies, each post captures their slightly cursed, endlessly entertaining energy. Whether they're lurking in the shadows or causing tiny household disasters, these felines keep things interesting. If you've ever lived with a black cat, you'll know… this is all a little too accurate.

From a 10-year-old child to a 31-year-old adult, one person shares the beautiful reality of growing up alongside their cat soulmate: 'My 21-year-old best friend since childhood.'

LOL Cats - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 18:00
Growing up with a cat best friend is a gift that not a lot of people get to have, but the few who do can attest to how purrecious it is.

There are many advantages of growing up with a pet in your house. Kids who grow up with animals learn to tend to another creature, which is a valuable lesson about responsibility in and of itself. But then there are the specific kids who grow up with cats - they don't just tend to the culinary needs of a goldfish, they don't just get to pet a bunny, and they don't just get a (wonderful) playmate as a dog. They grow up with an animal that teaches them a lot more than responsibility - boundaries, respect, loyalty, and many different ways of showing love. That's the way of the cat.

And when a bond between a cat and their human, once a child and later an adult, spans over two decades of tight friendship, of overcoming hardships, you get the most beautiful bond to witness. And one such person shared with the online feline family the strong connection they have with their 21-year-old cat. This is an old cat with a wholesome story.

'Honey was a pregnant stray I took in': Good human adopts pregnant street cat and she has litter of 3 beautiful kittens that he keeps

LOL Cats - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 16:00
Taking in a pregnant stray could be a lot for some people, but not this guy.

He didn't regret a thing after he took her in. He named her Honey, and had been feeding her on the street for a while, until one day he decided to make her a permanent addition to his life. About two weeks after he adopts her, she has her litter of three – an orange cat, (Jonesy), a grey cat (Reilly), and a black cat (Bonnie McPurray). He's never been happier about keeping the whole family, and he really cherishes them. Read the full story below.

‘If you go, you're fired’: Boss denied employee's time off request after discovering their summer vacations are at the same time, employee refuses to reschedule

Fail Blog - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 16:00
"Your work here is so important to us that we would rather fire you than let you go on vacation."

Unless your job actually saves lives, we can probably all agree that your office can manage without you for a few days while you take a much-needed vacation. The only person who doesn't agree is, for some reason, your boss. The second you hand in your time-off request, suddenly the boss cannot imagine a reality in which you are not there. How can they possibly manage without you?

The situation for the employee below is even more grave, apparently, because it seems like her vacation falls on the same dates as her boss's vacation. So now the office has to manage without both of them, and management refuses to let that happen.

Mind you, these vacations are happening in July, which means that the office has months to prepare for a week in which both this employee and her boss will not be there. And still, they will not try to find a solution, and instead demand that the oh-so-important employee reschedule her non-refundable vacation.

When the employee told management that she would do no such thing, they told her she would be fired if she went on her vacation anyway. Apparently, she is too vital to the company to be allowed to take a week off, but not too vital to be fired if she goes on vacation. Makes total sense, right?

21 Purrecious Memes of Pawrents Pawsitively Pawsessed with Their Cat Children

LOL Cats - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 15:00
One minute it's just a cat, the next minute they're your whole purrsonality

Being a cat pawrent means accepting that your entire personality now revolves around a small, furry creature who may or may not acknowledge you. You take photos constantly, even when they're doing absolutely nothing, because somehow every angle feels important. Your camera roll fills up fast, and deleting any of them feels illegal.

Plans start getting adjusted too. You leave a little earlier to make sure they're fed, or rush home because you "just want to check on them," even though you know they've been asleep the whole time. Somehow, sitting next to your cat while they do nothing becomes a top-tier activity. It counts as quality time, no questions asked.

You also start talking about them like everyone else is just as invested. Stories, updates, small details about what they did that day. It all feels important. Even the smallest things, like where they decided to sit or how they looked at you for two seconds, become highlights worth sharing.

At some point, you stop questioning it and just lean in. The routine, the photos, the constant updates, it all becomes normal. Your day starts and ends with them in some way, and you wouldn't have it any other way.

'You think you’re getting one and you end up with five': After months of failed attempts, a stray cat lets herself in and turns one rescue into a full kitten crew

LOL Cats - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 14:00
They were trying to help one stray, and ended up with a full house overnight

For months, this stray kept her distance, ignoring every attempt to win her over with food. Then one day, no warning, she walked straight through the front door like she'd made up her mind. At first it seemed like she was escaping the cold, but it quickly became clear she had a bigger reason. Not long after settling in, the bump gave it away, and now there are four tiny kittens along with her.

She picked her own spot under the sink and hasn't budged on that decision. No matter how many times these rescuers try to move her somewhere cleaner or more comfortable, she carries the kittens right back like she knows best. So they made it work, adding soft padding and letting her have her space. It's not perfect, but it's hers, and the kittens seem content tucked in there with her.

What started as trying to help one stray turned into a full house overnight. Between their own cat and the new arrivals, the number jumped fast. It's a lot to take on, especially with newborn kittens, but it also feels like something that landed exactly where it was supposed to. After losing a cat recently, the timing hits a little differently.

The plan is to keep mom and one kitten and find good homes for the others. For now, it's a mix of learning, a little stress, and a lot of tiny, new life all in one place.

New neighbor chops down homeowner's 2 trees, cuts down even more trees after homeowner demands he stop: 'We definitely started off on the wrong foot'

Fail Blog - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 14:00
This person discovered that their new neighbor's aren't being friendly, and in fact, they're chopping down tree after tree despite pleas to stop

House flippers get a bad name thanks to people like this.

Although there are a bunch of popular TV shows where flippers go in and transform homes in a snap, it's not as easy IRL as these shows would have you believe.

ER nurse saves a man's life despite getting stopped in the hallway by an entitled Karen demanding a turkey sandwich: ‘I [don’t] have time for a customer service attitude, GET OUT OF MY WAY'

Fail Blog - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 13:00
She was literally rushing to save a person's life, but in this emergency room Karen, a turkey sandwich order was far more urgent.

I love a turkey sandwich as much as anyone, but I would never order from the lunch menu while emergency sirens are blaring and nurses are sprinting around the hospital with their non-slip shoes. That's something only a tone-deaf, unaware, and totally entitled Karen would do…

25 Playfully Precious and Purrfectly Practical Cat Memes

LOL Cats - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 12:00
There's nothing more practical than cat memes.

We all need a bit of play in life, and we all need something practical. The balance between work and play, free time and production, and happy and sad can take many routes, forms, and paths. It's not always a straight line, and life will bring us down roads that seem unfamiliar far too often. The important thing is to be gentle with yourself, to let yourself do or feel whatever it needs. Play could look like literal play – maybe you're a video game person, or you like sports, or maybe "playtime" for you is enjoying a good book under the sun, or taking a warm bath and doing your ritualistic nightly routine, or maybe it's scrolling these precious cat memes because there's no better down time than cat time.

We live in a world where being productive and practical are more popular than having "fun." In past generations, people liked to party, go out, see friends, or be involved in hedonistic rights as part of their outside of work time. Nowadays, being healthy means being happy. Going to bed at a decent hour, always working on yourself, stretching, exercising, eating healthy, and having your skincare routine down before 8 pm are the main flaunts of happiness today. We all need to give ourselves what we need, and even if it's not popular to doom scroll or be obsessed with your cat, you can do it anyway. Don't pay attention to social media trends or what your ASMR vlogger tells you about what a healthy lifestyle means. It's all about what you want, and you clearly want cat memes. These cats are playful, precious, practical, and just waiting to be laughed at. Laughter is the best medicine, so don't hold back and enjoy these kitty cats.

Father promises 2 kids a $850 Target shopping spree, then teaches them a lesson about money

Fail Blog - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 12:00
When this Dad discovered that his 2 young children spent nearly $1,000 on Minecraft coins, he decided to teach them a financial lesson.

Apparently, this is kind of a common thing. Little kids get into gaming, because their parents probably play video games too. (After all, millennials and some zoomers are becoming parents now! So all their favorite pastimes are going to be learned by their own children.)

However, a lot of parents don't seem to realize just how easily a kid can accidentally spend big bucks on in-game microtransactions. It's not always easy for a kid to tell if they're spending in-game money, or real US dollars, and sometimes the games themselves try to blur the lines to confuse kids even further.

6-week-old kitten abandoned by cat mom gets rescued and rehomed with 6-month-old kitten who instantly falls in love with her: ‘We miss the little girl, but couldn’t be happier for her.’

LOL Cats - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 11:00
If you thought that cat mommas care for all their kittens equally, then this story will show you the true meaning of survival of the fittest. Thankfully, a caring couple of hoomans were on hand to intervene with nature's ways.

In most cases, people interfering with the way that mother nature handles her business is not the best of things to deal with. Most of her actions have a very good reason and the moment we step in the way of them happening we make irreparable changes to this world. But in certain cases such as with somewhat domesticated cats and dogs who live symbiotically with us hoomans there is space for us to get involved to help improve the lives of our canine and cat companions.

Which is exactly what happened to this couple who came to the conclusions that the litter of kittens a cat momma had birthed under their house had moved, leaving behind what must have been considered to be the runt. That is when they sprung into action to save this helpless feline's life and give it a chance to be loved and doted on just as much as its siblings.

Former school board member purchases over $250 worth of bricks for the new neighborhood playground to call out other board members for mismanaging funds

Fail Blog - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 11:00
This local city resident knew how much work was put into building this new school playground, so he took the opportunity to purchase several bricks so he could write "disparaging comments" on them about several board members, whose money mismanagement made this project nearly impossible to complete

‘Should I tell my boss how upset I am with them?’: Employee wants to skip work lunch her boss invited her to, because she doesn’t like 2 of the coworkers who are also attending

Fail Blog - Thu, 03/19/2026 - 10:00
This worker's boss is organizing a team lunch that sounds harmless until you realize every office lunch is a social minefield. It's meant to build teamwork, but it usually just tests who can fake interest the longest. The problem is that two coworkers on the invite list are a married couple she can't stand. He's the golden child who steals clients and preaches about integrity while his wife sits nearby, acting like she's hosting a reality show no one asked to join.I know workplace grudges are like allergies. Everyone's got one, and they flare up at the worst possible times. But, hey, lady! Coworkers we hate are like opinions: everybody has them, grow up and go to lunch.
