The owner of a struggling startup was having trouble handling the negative reviews his company was receiving on sites like Glassdoor. So he decided to write his own glowing reviews. The problem was he had no idea just how obvious these reviews actually were.

Creating scary situations such as the one in this story where the poor cat child was lost and confused in the wilderness for almost a month. Thankfully cake is one of the most powerful forces for good there is on this planet and it brought the cat and his family back together.

Isn't it crazy how we thought our parents had it all figured out? Now that we're in our 30s, we can safely say that we do not have it all figured out. We don't even have our breakfast every day figured out. Don't even ask us about dinner (it's a constant struggle in our house to decide what to eat every evening). But when we were kids, we thought our parents knew everything. Turns out they were faking it the whole time!

We may not be parents yet, but we are pawrents, and that's basically the same. We're still responsible for some children, ours just have four legs instead of two and sleep 18 hours a day. Same, same, really.

But even without regard to our feline children, there are days when we need some adult supervision, and one of those days is always a Monday. Monday, the dreaded first day after the weekend when your alarm goes off way earlier than you want it to and you just want to call in sick and have your mom come over and make you soup. Well, on those days, when your mom isn't here and you're out of sick days, it's our love for our cats that gets us out of bed. If we don't go to work, we won't be able to give them the life they deserve, and so, we put on our adult pants and go do our adult things.

He was the guardian of his neighborhood park, a tomcat no one dared mess. Neighbors noticed a new addition to their small stray cat community, a small white kitten. The kitten kept bumping into things, and didn't get surprised by sudden movements. That was when they all understood: the kitten was blind. Immediately, Capitán stepped in to become his guide. Even when the residents intervened and tried to rescue the blind baby, both of them would cry nonstop until they were safely back together. Because of Capitán, the kitten was able to survive in a world that would not have treated him kindly.

True strength is calm and collected. True strength protects those who are weaker. True strength encourages pawsitivity instead of dominance. True strength is Capitán's middle name.

Yes, this cat is real and alive, and we are head over heels for it. 

In an era of AI, when we're not sure whether half of the things that we see are real or not, coming across an image of a cat like this one would instantly be suspicious. You might even scroll past. Our kitties have already claimed their share of the kitchen, the bedroom, and the living room, so it's about time they get their own lounge space in the form of a cat dojo, specifically designed with feline size in mind. 

This senior member of the company was reprimanded just because his 6-year-old daughter said hello while he was on a work call.

What is the point of a private garage if your neighbor doesn't let you use it?

Anyone who owns a car knows that when moving to a new home, the one thing you should make sure you have is somewhere to park. You can find the best house to live in and still prefer to give it up if the area around it has terrible parking, because nothing is more annoying than arriving home at the end of a long day and spending another hour looking for somewhere to leave your car.

The new tenants below thought they had this covered. They made sure that the new place they were moving into had a private garage, which meant they would always have a private space to park in. However, as soon as they moved in, they were proven wrong. Apparently, their next-door neighbor uses the driveway in front of the garage door as her own private parking, as she claimed that her own garage is too small to fit her car. While there were no tenants living next door to her, she has been using the driveway as a parking spot, and now that people moved in, she is expecting them to let her keep at it. Instead of vacating the driveway and allowing these tenants to use their garage as intended, she demands that they let her keep blocking the garage door and simply call her whenever they need to drive in or out.

For some reason, maybe since they were still new to the neighborhood, the tenants went along with this arrangement. Every time they need to leave, they call their neighbor to move her car, and they do the same when they return home. Sometimes, she even takes her sweet time coming out to move her car, which definitely does not make things easier for the new tenants.

The king sits on his throne while his workers are forced to sit on… broken office chairs.

No one tells you that one of the hardest parts of having a normal desk job is not the commute, or the annoying boss, but the horrible office chairs that make you feel like you're at least 10 years older than you are. Most employees, who don't wish to deal with back problems at the ripe age of 28, find creative solutions to this problem. They fix their chairs, swap faulty pieces, and assemble a good enough seat to make do. But those who find themselves wincing every couple of minutes because their backs are so sore must turn to the only place that can actually fix the issue… Human Resources.

HR is the one department that truly has the power to ensure that employees are happy with the way the office operates, especially when it comes to the office supplies.
