Boss gets called out for posting fake glowing online reviews of his company: '5/5 stars - The Best Job I Ever Had'

Fail Blog - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 11:00
The owner of a struggling startup was having trouble handling the negative reviews his company was receiving on sites like Glassdoor. So he decided to write his own glowing reviews. The problem was he had no idea just how obvious these reviews actually were.

Outdoor cat disoriented by snowstorm gets lost for 24 days, until a family finds him 3 miles away from home, using treats and cake they keep him there until his family arrived for a tearful reunion, pawrent says: ‘So happy to have him home.’

LOL Cats - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 11:00
Some cats are built for the outdoor life, but when adverse weather gets involved then all bets are off. Which is how our protagonist catto got lost for more than twenty days after a snowstorm, until he was emotionally reunited with his family.

Being pawrents to an outdoor catto is no easy thing. Sure you might argue that it is better that they conduct their business and shenanigans outside such that your home stays cleaner and without clawminal activity. But the truth is that all that time they spend away from home is terrifying. As any outdoor feline pawrent will tell you, there is no knowing what they are up to and in what state they will come home.

After all, cats do love a good scrap from time to time. But there are curveballs too, such as this snowstorm, that can cause a catto to completely lose their otherwise wonderfully strong sense of direction and belonging. Creating scary situations such as the one in this story where the poor cat child was lost and confused in the wilderness for almost a month. Thankfully cake is one of the most powerful forces for good there is on this planet and it brought the cat and his family back together

23 Working Cat Memes to Meow Your Monday Away

LOL Cats - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 10:00
Guess who's indifferent to the fact it's Monday? Your cat.

Meownday morning has officially arrived, and your cat is currently the CEO of the "Nap and Snack" department while you're stuck staring at a glowing screen. It's a tough gig, especially when your feline manager decides that the middle of your most important video call is the purrfect time to showcase their tail right in front of the camera. We've all been there - trying to look professional while a fluffy feline coworker is aggressively kneading your lap or "organizing" your pens by batting them onto the floor.

If your to-do list looks more like a tall mountain and your coffee hasn't kicked in yet, it's time to take a page out of the feline handbook. Sometimes, the only way to survive the grind is to lean into the silliness and meow your Monday away. Whether you're dreaming of being a cat in a sunbeam or just looking for an excuse to ignore an email, these whiskers and workday vibes are exactly what you need to stay pawsitive.

25+ Pawsitively Silly Posts of House Cats For Mondays That Need Adult Supervision

LOL Cats - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 09:00
No one ever tells you that one day, you'll wake up and you're the adult that's supposed to know what you're doing and provide supervision. But what about when we need adult supervision?

Isn't it crazy how we thought our parents had it all figured out? Now that we're in our 30s, we can safely say that we do not have it all figured out. We don't even have our breakfast every day figured out. Don't even ask us about dinner (it's a constant struggle in our house to decide what to eat every evening). But when we were kids, we thought our parents knew everything. Turns out they were faking it the whole time!

We may not be parents yet, but we are pawrents, and that's basically the same. We're still responsible for some children, ours just have four legs instead of two and sleep 18 hours a day. Same, same, really.

But even without regard to our feline children, there are days when we need some adult supervision, and one of those days is always a Monday. Monday, the dreaded first day after the weekend when your alarm goes off way earlier than you want it to and you just want to call in sick and have your mom come over and make you soup. Well, on those days, when your mom isn't here and you're out of sick days, it's our love for our cats that gets us out of bed. If we don't go to work, we won't be able to give them the life they deserve, and so, we put on our adult pants and go do our adult things.

Since today is one of those days, here are some pawsitively silly posts of house cats to remind you why you need to adult today. You don't have to have all the answers, but you just have to do your best. It worked well for our parents, and so we have to hope it will work just as well for us.

Boss calls employee he fired on Christmas, asking for unpaid weekend help as a favor "as a friend” after his wife and only other worker quit, but the former employee refuses

Fail Blog - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 09:00
Some bosses really do treat the people they fire like a spare part they can borrow later. It's almost cute, in a tragic way. One minute you're "thanks for everything, tough times," and the next they're calling you like an old college buddy who just needs "a quick favor"

Except their favor involves unpaid work, no title, and a dash of emotional guilt.

'Every time they tried separating them, both cats cried endlessly': Massive feral Maine coon fiercely protects blind white kitten, refusing to leave his side

LOL Cats - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 08:00
'Capitán', the Maine coon, was the king of his territory for five years, and he showed us what a true king does: he nurtures and protects, against all odds and with no excuses.

Strength is not always about how physically strong you are. Don't let those macho weirdos on social media try to convince you otherwise. It can be about the strength of your will or your ability to protect those who need help. If strength were just about how big your muscles are, them the leaders of the world would all look like Arnold Schwarzenegger (and we all know that's not true). Our stray Maine coon, 'Capitán', is showing us a different kind of strength, the purrfect kind that offers kindness instead of brute force.

He was the guardian of his neighborhood park, a tomcat no one dared mess. Neighbors noticed a new addition to their small stray cat community, a small white kitten. The kitten kept bumping into things, and didn't get surprised by sudden movements. That was when they all understood: the kitten was blind. Immediately, Capitán stepped in to become his guide. Even when the residents intervened and tried to rescue the blind baby, both of them would cry nonstop until they were safely back together. Because of Capitán, the kitten was able to survive in a world that would not have treated him kindly.

True strength is calm and collected. True strength protects those who are weaker. True strength encourages pawsitivity instead of dominance. True strength is Capitán's middle name.

AI-Curious Brands are Isolating Their Own Customers

Fail Blog - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 08:00
Brands have to pick a side: Show off their products with the use of AI, or invest in human artists to do the job.

Italian fashion house Gucci served up a big surprise when they launched their February 2026 Primavera campaign. They used AI-generated images for their advertisements, and it's safe to say that it didn't go well for them. It sparked immediate mockery on Instagram, TikTok, and X, and continued a wider conversation about the use of AI-generated imagery used in creative settings, a choice that is already taboo. Commenters were startled to see these ads, and were quite vocal about it.

Beautiful black cat with a unique genetic condition that gives it four ears and a curled tail goes viral online, and his fosters are ecstatic about all the adoption offers: 'We don't think we'll have any difficulty finding him that [forever] home'

LOL Cats - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 07:00
Yes, this cat is real and alive, and we are head over heels for it.

In an era of AI, when we're not sure whether half of the things that we see are real or not, coming across an image of a cat like this one would instantly be suspicious. You might even scroll past. But we, here at ICHC, do the research. We show you the cool cats, the unique and rare cats, that look like they might be AI but are actually real. Because even if most of the things that we see are fabricated, we have to remember that some things are still real. Like cats with two noses who are twice as adorable, or cats with faces that are half one color and half another, known as chimera cats, or cats with giant gray eyes that look entirely disproportionate to their faces.

And of course, cats with four ears. If you've never heard of such a thing, you might have scrolled past this cat instantly. Because it simply doesn't look real. But Dobby is a real cat, with a real - albeit rare - genetic condition. It doesn't cause him any harm. It just gives him an extra set of ears to ignore you with and an adorably curled tail for you to admire.

39-year-old wife excludes husband's 32-year-old coworker from his surprise 40th birthday party: 'I feel what she did was immature and petty'

Fail Blog - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 06:00
Tough choice… How can this husband choose between his wife and his coworker? Just imagine if you found out that one of your coworkers had a birthday party, and the only person not invited was you!You might be a little irritated, or wonder if you did something wrong. But at the end of the day, the workplace is for working, and socializing is pleasant, but secondary to the actual tasks at hand. You don't have to be friends with your coworkers. Some people can't stand their colleagues, and yet they all work harmoniously nevertheless. Still, it might sting to be disinvited from a party that literally every other worker is attending, so this guy was aghast when he realized that his wife intentionally disinvited a younger coworker he's friends with.

27 Lackadaisical Cats Lounging in Meowniature Furniture Designed to Redecorate a Cat Lover's Mood

LOL Cats - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 05:00
Cats are smol.

Kitties are always smaller than we think they are. With purrsonalities that far exceed their physical size, it's easy to forget that the little lordly ruler of the house is only 7lbs of whiskers and fluff. However, that's what makes so many catisms hissterical. Smol but mighty, kitties remind their hoomans of the mischief and mayhem that can be achieved in such a small body. But it's with their teensy size that we repeatedly fall in love once more.

When their curled in a tiny cinnamon roll ball in your lap or sneak under the crawlspace under the couch, cats smoosh themselves down into a compact and downright adorable package. If only there were some way that humans could accommodate their cats, giving them the feeling of being big for a change? Look no further, fellow feline fanatics, for there is one special way that we can make our cats feel big.

It's not about making the cat feel bigger; it's about making the world around them much smaller, mainly via the furniture.

Feng shui be darned, it's about time we cat lovers join hands and ruin the aesthetic of our house one final time, bringing in the likes of the cutest, smollest, most adorable cat-sized furniture. Our kitties have already claimed their share of the kitchen, the bedroom, and the living room, so it's about time they get their own lounge space in the form of a cat dojo, specifically designed with feline size in mind.

Remote employee forced to come into the office after his 6-year-old daughter makes a cameo during a Zoom call: 'My CEO freaked out!'

Fail Blog - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 05:00
This senior member of the company was reprimanded just because his 6-year-old daughter said hello while he was on a work call.

Of course, every boss has their personal pet peeves, but anyone who worked through 2020 should know by now that unexpected circumstances will occasionally arise during a Zoom call. Those of us who work remotely do the best we can to avoid these minor interruptions, but there is only so much that we can do to prevent them from happening.

This author was mortified when he found out the day after said work call that he was now being asked to commute to a co-working space on the company's dime… all because of a silly cameo from his daughter!

Boss lectures an employee about taking “personal calls” on their break, then gets burned when the employee start screening their calls: 'I let it go to voicemail'

Fail Blog - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 04:00
The company had a policy against using personal cellphones on the job, and this manager took every opportunity to bring the hammer down on her employees. Still, when it came to her own personal calls, she was suddenly extremely lenient.

Wouldn't it be a shame if her own double standards blew back in her face?

Neighbor blocks new tenant's garage every day, demanding they ask for permission to come and go, tenant looks for another way out of this deal: ‘This is unreasonable'

Fail Blog - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 03:00
What is the point of a private garage if your neighbor doesn't let you use it?

Anyone who owns a car knows that when moving to a new home, the one thing you should make sure you have is somewhere to park. You can find the best house to live in and still prefer to give it up if the area around it has terrible parking, because nothing is more annoying than arriving home at the end of a long day and spending another hour looking for somewhere to leave your car.

The new tenants below thought they had this covered. They made sure that the new place they were moving into had a private garage, which meant they would always have a private space to park in. However, as soon as they moved in, they were proven wrong. Apparently, their next-door neighbor uses the driveway in front of the garage door as her own private parking, as she claimed that her own garage is too small to fit her car. While there were no tenants living next door to her, she has been using the driveway as a parking spot, and now that people moved in, she is expecting them to let her keep at it. Instead of vacating the driveway and allowing these tenants to use their garage as intended, she demands that they let her keep blocking the garage door and simply call her whenever they need to drive in or out.

For some reason, maybe since they were still new to the neighborhood, the tenants went along with this arrangement. Every time they need to leave, they call their neighbor to move her car, and they do the same when they return home. Sometimes, she even takes her sweet time coming out to move her car, which definitely does not make things easier for the new tenants.

Recently, the tenants realized they cannot let this situation go any further, and are looking for ways to ensure the neighbor no longers block their garage. Keep scrolling to read the full story, and share your thoughts in the comments below!

CEO buys ‘luxury throne’ for his office while HR refuses to buy new chair for employee with back problems, employee protests: ‘His new chair costs more than my monthly rent’

Fail Blog - Mon, 03/02/2026 - 01:00
The king sits on his throne while his workers are forced to sit on… broken office chairs.

No one tells you that one of the hardest parts of having a normal desk job is not the commute, or the annoying boss, but the horrible office chairs that make you feel like you're at least 10 years older than you are. Even though these companies require most of the employees to sit in front of a desk for 8 hours a day, five days a week, none of them invest in seats that actually make that possible. The chairs in an average office are either wobbly, missing an armrest, falling apart, or all of the above, and no one seems too eager to do anything about it.

Most employees, who don't wish to deal with back problems at the ripe age of 28, find creative solutions to this problem. They fix their chairs, swap faulty pieces, and assemble a good enough seat to make do. But those who find themselves wincing every couple of minutes because their backs are so sore must turn to the only place that can actually fix the issue… Human Resources.

HR is the one department that truly has the power to ensure that employees are happy with the way the office operates, especially when it comes to the office supplies. If employees are missing anything or in need of a certain item, HR is supposed to be the one to provide it. Unfortunately, in most offices, HR is also the one who always says no to these requests, which is exactly what happened in the story below.

31 Cuddly Cat Memes That Pawthorize a One-Way Ticket Aboard the Snuggle Bus

LOL Cats - Sun, 03/01/2026 - 16:00
You look like you could use a kitty cuddle puddle session.

There's nothing quite like the love of a cat that makes a cat lover's mood soar, but when you don't have access to your beloved feline at home, what's a traveling cat enthusiast to do? Although we would love the idea of either lounging all day in the coziness of the house or bringing along our emotional support felines to work, unfortunately, the real world doesn't always work like that.

For those crucial meowments when a cat lover desperately needs some feline wholesomeness, I have just the thing to soothe your soul: Memes.

'Am I being adopted': After days of mysterious meows, a distinguished cat appears at an Italian apartment door, ready to choose his new hooman

LOL Cats - Sun, 03/01/2026 - 15:00
The Cat Distribution System doesn't always send a tracking number.

For a few days, there had been the occasional mysterious meow drifting in from outside the apartment. This rescuer assumed it belonged to a neighbor's cat, except after asking around, it turned out no one in the building had one. The soundtrack of surprise meows continued anyway.

Then came the moment. While doing the dishes, another meow rang out, followed by a small sound against the door. Not imagination this time. Just enough to pause, dry hands, and open it. And there he was.

A very distinguished gentleman of a cat, standing there like he had arrived exactly where he meant to be. No tag. No obvious owner. Surprisingly clean and healthy for someone appearing unannounced. He didn't look lost. If anything, he looked confident, like he had selected this apartment specifically.

Naturally, the only question left hanging in the air is whether the adoption paperwork is already in progress. Sometimes the Cat Distribution System doesn't send advance notice. Sometimes it simply delivers a well-groomed gentleman to the doorstep and lets things unfold from there. Whether he's a wandering visitor or a future permanent resident remains to be seen, but he certainly made an entrance.

21 Cozy Memes of Cats Getting Through the Sunday Scaries Together

LOL Cats - Sun, 03/01/2026 - 14:00
The Sunday scaries don't just hit hoomans.

Cats absolutely get the Sunday scaries. You can see it once the weekend starts winding down and someone says the word Monday in a tired voice. They don't know what Monday means, but they know the energy just shifted.

Sunday night turns them extra clingy. Suddenly they need to be exactly where you are. If you sit down, they're on your lap before you even get comfortable. If you stand up, they follow you like you might disappear. If a bag comes out or a laptop opens, they insert themselves immediately. This is not a coincidence. This is damage control.

They start acting like they need maximum attention before the week begins. More headbutts. More random flops next to you. More "accidentally" sitting on whatever you're trying to use. It's like they're cashing in all their cuddle points before Monday hits.

The funny part is that nothing about their life actually changes. Monday still includes naps. Monday still includes snacks. Monday still includes yelling at you for attention at the exact same time. But that doesn't stop them from acting like something major is about to happen.

By the time Monday morning rolls around, they're completely fine.

Update: Raised by chickens, "Juju" cat crows like a rooster, loves Spongebob, and is an absolute dream for the Amazon UPS Driver who took her in: 'She really feels like the piece we’ve been missing'

LOL Cats - Sun, 03/01/2026 - 13:00
A cat raised by chickens, goats, and 6 chihuahuas? You can't miss this.

She's a cat, but she may as well be a myriad mix of different animals of different kinds. This UPS driver for Amazon was doing his normal deliveries on Valentine's day, when a customer brought him this kitten. Juniper, of Juju as her new cat dad calls her, is simply adorable. She was raised by several other species, so she crows like a rooster, and acts like a dog. She had some frost bite, but the owner is taking care of her. Her vet appointment is all set up, and in the meantime she loves playing with her "brother," watching Spongebob, and laying in the arms of her owner while he plays Minecraft after work. Read the full story below for all the adorable and wholesome details.

'Their cash cow is gone': Mom of 2-year-old gives $50k to family-in-law before kicking them out of her home

Fail Blog - Sun, 03/01/2026 - 12:00
You never want to think that someone is mooching off you, but sometimes the writing's on the wall. This person is the best partner a man could have when it comes to finances. She's told it all here in her story as she looks for advice — she spent 6 years paying every bill for her husband, in addition to supporting his family. Tens of thousands of dollars were spent keeping her hubby and his parents afloat. But, this woman slowly realized over time that she was being overly generous to people who weren't exactly appreciative of it. Instead, they just wanted more and more from her, until one shocking moment became the final straw.
