A Celebration of 28 Cat Memes That Deserve a Round of A-paws

LOL Cats - Wed, 03/25/2026 - 08:00
You can't convince a cat that they don't deserve our attention; they know better.

Although cats want the hoomans of the world to believe that they're naive, empty-headed, little peanut noggins, cats are actually clever. Mischievous like a monkey and cunning like a fox, it's no wonder the human species has spent centuries worshiping cats. They've engineered it that way.

Over the decades, centuries, and millennia, cats have finely tuned their actions to meownipulate us, in the best way possible. It doesn't come from a bad place when cats play with humanity like they're as soft as Play-Doh; it's because inherent cat laziness dictates that cats must have bipedal servants.

That's where cat lovers come into the picture.

Without humans, cats could never open a tin can of wet kibble delights, and without us, who would clean up the litter box? Cats know this and have solved their many dilemmas using humans. If a cat isn't getting enough attention, it's time they knock our favorite mug off the counter (that thing was getting more kisses in the morning than the household feline: DESTROY). If a cat isn't getting enough playtime when they're at the peak of their energy boost? Attack the sleeping human's ankles.

Humanity offers more than just infinite entertainment to cats, and although it may seem like our cats are manipulating us into bowing to their every whim, it's important to keep up the facade of kitty dumbness.

Kittens are playful and silly, while cats are lazy lumps. But during all of the stages of cat ownership, it's always clear who has who wrapped around their little finger. Or in this case… Their little toe bean.

'She just laughed': Boss refuses to stop overworking employee, causing overdue tasks to be forgotten until boss is forced to do them herself

Fail Blog - Wed, 03/25/2026 - 07:00
Telling your boss you have too much on your plate requires a lot of courage, and dealing with the aftermath is usually no picnic either.

Getting to a point where your workplace tasks become too much to handle is something many of us deal with on a daily basis at the office. Bosses love to pile on more and more responsibilities, acting as if you have superpowers that allow you to get to everything in time.

Yet, news flash, no one is capable of doing more than time allows, and no one should overwork themselves just to maintain their boss's unrealistic expectations. Which is why some are forced to confront their managers and tell them they are asking too much.

When the 20-year-old receptionist below did that, her boss simply laughed at her. The receptionist warned her boss that they were unable to complete all their tasks in time for their deadline, and was very clear about how much they were able to do, yet they were met with a dismissive attitude and were told to "figure it out".

The receptionist, however, decided that they did everything in their power to prevent a missed deadline. They informed their boss, and the boss decided not to listen, so whatever happens in the future could not be pinned on them. And that is exactly what happened when the boss discovered the overdue tasks that had no one to tend to them.

21 Photoshop Fails That Nobody Thought to Double Check

Fail Blog - Wed, 03/25/2026 - 06:00
Somewhere between editing and publishing, things went very, very wrong. This collection of Photoshop fails is a reminder that not every detail gets the attention it probably should have, and the results are both baffling and impossible to ignore. From extra limbs to gravity-defying proportions, these images somehow made it past the final check. It is the kind of content that makes you look twice, then a third time, just to be sure you are actually seeing what you think you are seeing.

Man asks the online cat community for advice after a rotund feline spends months guarding his porch and waiting for an invitation to join the family: ‘We don't choose cats, they choose us.’

LOL Cats - Wed, 03/25/2026 - 06:00
If there was ever a hard piece of evidence that cats are the ones who choose their humans and not the other way around - it's cat adoption stories such as this one.

There are many mysterious and meowgical ways in which the Cat Distribution System matches a cat to their forever homes. One of them can be described, in the lack of a better understanding by us, like a software installation in the cat. This software is wired to make the cat choose this home, their humans, and sort of adopt themselves into the domesticated life. All cats deserve a home, whether they're adopted by a patient person, or if the cat totally adopts themselves. And here, there's no doubt the cat is of the latter kind.

This cat here may or may not have taken control of this one man's porch, making it her kingdom for months. But then, just naturally as the hearts of the two expand - so did her will to expand her kingdom's reach. She wanted inside. Now, this man is already a cat pawrent, so he turned to the online cat community to seek advice on introducing the newcomer to his household. And, as always, all the cat people online demonstrate one post at a time how wholesome they all are. We're so purroud of all the cat people worldwide.

Employee demands 10% raise because he's bilingual, even though his second language is Welsh: 'The manager then told me that the policy meant Spanish'

Fail Blog - Wed, 03/25/2026 - 05:00
It's a perk for anyone to be bilingual, but in this workplace environment, it served as justification for a raise.

That's because employees at this company were often required to take work trips to other offices and sites where colleagues and clients did not necessarily speak English. Recently, in order to attract more bilingual employees to the company (and in order to reward current employees who often have to be the point people in these communications), a new policy was enforced where bilingual employees would be granted a 10% raise. Given that these employees often had to take the reins for a lot of these conversations with non-English-speaking clients, the policy seemed fair enough.

Now, the vast majority of these non-English-speaking clients spoke Spanish. Although Spanish was not directly specified as the preferred or required second language in this new policy, management assumed that most employees would understand that the policy only really applied to those who spoke both English and Spanish. However, we all know what happens when you assume…

This employee, who recently took it upon himself to learn Welsh as it is part of his family's heritage, made the case for why he qualified for this raise. Even though management was initially baffled by the request, they were unable to contest it, given that they did not specify which languages applied to the policy. Who knew speaking Welsh in an environment where it was completely unnecessary would prove to be a genuine argument for a salary increase?

'They all demand second breakfast': Cat lover finds a fluffy fellowship of 4 abandoned kittens named Frodo, Bilbo, Merry, and Pippin; bringing the little ring-bearers home at last

LOL Cats - Wed, 03/25/2026 - 05:00
Long ago, in a busy corner of the neighborhood, 4 tiny kittens were left by the roadside. Small, soft, and hardly old enough to know the world. Most passed them by, unaware of the small destiny curled together in the grass. But one cat lover noticed. To them were given four kittens - fragile, squeaky, and barely more than a handful of fluff. Found huddled beside a busy road, where danger prowled and rain clouds gathered. And so the four kittens, Merry, Bilbo, Pippin, and Frodo, began their journey in a shoebox with their new furrever family.

21 Cat Memes That Purrvide Whimsy for Feline Fairy GodMEOWthers

Pennsylvania couple arrives at their new rental house and discovers another family already living there and is paying a fake Facebook landlord: ‘Their lease was a single page and their rental payments make no sense’

Fail Blog - Wed, 03/25/2026 - 04:00
Moving day is already a disaster movie, but this is next level. Imagine dragging your whole life to a new place, opening the door, and finding out someone else has already called dibs on your future. Boxes in the truck, pets in the car, and surprise, there is a stranger's laundry where your couch is supposed to go

Three 1-year-old cats were found left in an Uber Eats bag outside of an NYC park, all were courageously rescued, given proper care, and warm homes: ‘You’re safe now, babies.'

LOL Cats - Wed, 03/25/2026 - 03:00
These sweet cats went from an abandoned Uber Eats bag to a loving home, all thanks to the kindness of NYC cat people.

New Yorkers can get a bad reputation due to their blunt approach to situations. It has been said that New Yorkers are kind but not very nice. For instance, if they saw you leaving an Uber Eats bag of cats in the park, these citizens would make sure you understand, in an abrupt, not-very-nice manner, that what you are doing is horrible. However, they will also help you find homes for all of those cats and make sure these feline friends are properly loved and cared for. Unfortunately, in this real-life case, the culprit of this feline abandonment was not found. However, that did not stop a group of kind passing New Yorkers from stopping what they were doing and coming to the aid of these cats in need.

Obviously, it's heartbreaking to see three 1-year-old cats curled up in an abandoned, ripped-up bag in the park looking terrified, but heartbreak won't stop New Yorkers from doing what's right. The three cats were brought to a rescue that fed, vaccinated, dewormed, and checked for chips (none were found). Then, within an hour, all three were given warm foster homes so they do not have to stay in an overcrowded shelter as they await their loving furever families.

Pregnant stray cat finds her way into man's house through a fence hole, he brings her in, adopts the proud Mom and her entire litter: ‘I couldn't bring myself to separate them’

LOL Cats - Wed, 03/25/2026 - 01:00
You never know when you might find yourself saving a cat's life… Or when they might save yours.

Some people might see a hole in their fence as an inconvenience. Yet another thing around the house you have to find to fix. But for the hooman in the story below, the hole in their fence opened a door for a life-changing experience. Because out there, there was an adorable stray cat who saw that hole and decided to climb through it. Beyond the fence, she met a heartwarming man who immediately showed her kindness and love.

It wasn't long before the hooman took the cat into his home, and a day later, she gave birth to six tiny kittens in his basement. So not only did he save her life, but he also helped save the lives of her entire family.

While his initial plan was to find loving homes for all the babies, this pawdorable dad couldn't separate the bonded family, which is how he found himself the purroud pawrent of 7 cats.

Down below is the full story of the family, so keep scrolling to read the whole tale and see some snapshots that show the delightful development. After that, check out these hissterical cat memes for a wholesome weekend.

21 Legendary Pictures of Cats Shredding Guitar Strings Like They’ve Got a Sold-Out Show

LOL Cats - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 18:00
One guitar, one cat, immediate rockstar energy.

Cats don't really learn guitar, they just start playing like they've already made it. The second they're near one, it's a full rockstar moment. Sitting there with a paw on the strings like they know exactly what they're doing, even if they clearly don't.

They'll hit a string once and suddenly it's a whole purrformance. Sitting upright like they're mid-solo, staring off like they're feeling the music, acting like every sound was intentional. It doesn't matter what it actually sounds like, the energy says it's good.

They move around the guitar like it's part of the act. Stepping on the strings, shifting positions, maybe sitting directly on it like that's the final move. It all somehow looks like it belongs in the performance.

And they fully carry themselves like rockstars. Slightly dramatic, slightly unbothered, like they might walk off at any second because they can. You walk by and get a look like you just interrupted something important.

Then just as fast as it started, it's over. They walk away like the show's done, no explanation, no encore. In their mind, they just played a full set and it went exactly how it was supposed to.

23 Memes That Hath No Feline Fury Like a Kitty Cat Scorned

LOL Cats - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 17:00
You've never expurrienced true fear until you've expurrienced the fury of a grumpy cat. Whether you were breathing too loudly, dared to enter the room they were relaxing in, or were 0.5 seconds late in feeding them dinner, you will only know true pain after you've crossed the wrong cat. These 23 hilarious cat memes below show what happens to you when felines are furious… you laugh! Cats get upset for the most pawsitively ridiculous reasons, and these memes are the purrfect excuse to smile while you enjoy their hissterically grumpy faces.

'This kitty adopted my grandmother': Skinny orange feline won't stop demanding pets from sweet elderly woman, she eventually adopts him and makes him her barn cat

LOL Cats - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 16:00
From rags to…barns! Well, it's still an upgrade.

This little skinny stray was pestering the old lady for days. Apparently the neighbors simply won't take her back in, and that means she's fair game. The grandmother in question decided to do it. When a cat chooses you, you really have no other option than to adopt her. This little orange feline is now the designated barn cat, and is very food motivated. He actually went from a bit skinny to on the chonkier side! But, who doesn't adore a chonky cat?

Neighbor sends her sister and teens to swim in a woman's locked, fenced backyard pool, then blames the homeowner for reporting them: ‘There’s a very clear sign that says “Private Property – No Trespassing”’

Fail Blog - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 16:00
Both this neighbor and her sister treat other people's property like a public park with better amenities. There is a sign, a fence, a locked gate, a covered pool, cameras everywhere, and somehow a grown adult still looks at that setup and thinks perfect spot for an unscheduled family swim

20 Foodie Feline Funnies for Folks Who Hunger for Humor

LOL Cats - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 15:00
Did your cats wake us up this morning with a guttural meow and a need for immediate foodie compensation? Our cats certainly did, and this is all that's on our minds.

Why is it that our precious and purring bundles of joy feel the need to kneed biscuits on us until we're awake at all hours of the night just to prove they are hungry? They flatly refuse to pick reasonable times to remind us that their stomachs are one inch empty and only emptying more as the seconds tick by. And that, by any feline standard, is a true disaster. Seriously, cats act like they are starving, even if they have plenty of dry kibble to nibble on between wet meals. Even still, we'll do absolutely anything for our chubby cattos. Even if it involves sharing our own human food.

Our cats are currently in food comas - their favorite hobby to practice during the day - and will remain there until their next feeding time (which is soon, probably). It feels like we are zookeepers just waiting to feed the carnivorous lions, afraid of their pawtential wrath regarding their food. If you're feeling a little hungry for some humor, here are the funniest hungry cat memes that are sure to be easy on the tummy, for both humans and cats. There's nothing like foodie feline humor to fill the gap of time until you feed your own floofy feline overlords.

Artist loses art competition and contacts organizers, judges admit they ruled unfairly

Fail Blog - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 14:00
An art competition where the judges don't follow the rules isn't going to end with happy contestants.

As if making it in this world as an artist isn't already a difficult path, competitions like these just make it harder for artists to succeed.

Most artists don't make art as their day job — it's more of a side project, since it can be quite difficult to actually make decent money off of the pieces you sell. Plus, some artists just create things for the fun of it. They're creative people who like being inspired by the artsy community around them.

20 Heroic Memes of Cats as Caped Crusaders Ready to Save the Day

LOL Cats - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 13:00
Some heroes wear capes, cats just show up.

Cats already act like they run everything, so it's not a stretch to imagine them as full superheroes. No cape needed, they've already got the attitude. One minute they're sleeping, the next they're up like they've been summoned for something very important.

Every hero has a specialty, and cats have plenty. Late-night zoomie patrol, random object inspection, and knocking things off surfaces for quality control. If it's on the edge, it's getting tested. Public service.

They also move like they've got secret powers. Silent steps, sudden speed, disappearing and reappearing in places that don't make sense. One second they're in the room, next second they're gone. Very suspicious, very super.

And then there's the dramatic stare. You know the one. Sitting there like they're calculating something, probably deciding if you're a threat or just in the way. Either way, they're in charge.

Of course, every hero needs motivation, and for cats, it's usually snacks. Protect the house, save the day, get a treat. Simple system, very effective.

At the end of the day, they're still cats, but give them a dramatic moment and they'll absolutely lean into it. Fully convinced they're doing something important, and honestly, they kind of are.

'I'm so thankful I adopted them together': A one-cat plan turns into a heartwarming reunion as a kitten is unknowingly adopted alongside his mom, reuniting them forever

LOL Cats - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 12:00
Some adoptions are planned, and then some just fall purrfectly into place.

This started as a simple search for one kitten. After finding the perfect little guy and waiting through the adoption process, it turned into an 82-mile trip to finally bring him home. Somewhere along the way, though, there was a feeling that maybe one cat wasn't enough. That small thought led to meeting Butler, who was an immediate yes, and then one more stop to look at adult females.

That's when everything clicked. One look at another cat, Maid, and it was clear she was coming home too. It all felt right, even if it didn't fully make sense yet. It wasn't until a casual comment from someone at the shelter that the missing piece fell into place. Butler wasn't just another cat, he was her kitten.

Suddenly, everything about him made sense. The crying, the restlessness, all of it disappeared the moment he was back with his mom. What looked like coincidence was actually something much sweeter.

Now, years later, they're still together. He may be twice her size, but that bond hasn't changed. It's one of those stories where the right choices happen before you even realize why, and it ends exactly how it was meant to.

Friend agrees to babysit 6-year-old for "20 minutes", realizes kid's Mom has vanished

Fail Blog - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 12:00
Entitled is the only way to describe this Mom, who randomly left her 6-year-old son with a friend for way longer than expected.

Have you ever babysat for a family without knowing when the parents would arrive home? I highly doubt it.

The parents will ask you to babysit for, say, 6 hours. They'll tell you what to feed the kid for each meal, tell you if they need a nap or a bath, and if you're putting them to bed, they'll tell you all about their bedtime routine.

Most parents get a little anxious when they're away for their kiddos for too long, anyway. They want to know that the children are in good hands

However, for this Mom, the freedom of getting some "me time" away from the kiddo became her own downfall…

21 Flawed Designs Made by Folks Who Had One Job

Fail Blog - Tue, 03/24/2026 - 11:00
