Hey, friends. Cats are such interesting and unoque little creatures. I'll let you in a on a personal story. I recently adopted a new 8 m onth old kitten, and yesterday for the first time ever, I gave her a little bit of tuna to try. Big mistake. She devoured the spoonful of tuna in a flat 1.5 seconds and then came running up to me in an attempt to finagle an extra spoonful. Not going to happen, little missy. And then she started with the meowing. My oh my that was some crazy intense meowing. She meowed her little heart out until I finally gave in and offered her up a little more tuna. 

Cats are incredibly motivated by delicious foods, especially the ones that we humans do our best to keep our of their sight and range of smell. But, cats gonna cat. The sly feliens we are featuring today were caught red pawed in scenes of feline mischeif and attempts to snag treats and food from their human companions. Enjoy!

We have heard of some heckin' bad dates during our time writing for Cheezburger. Some of the most ridiculous and hilarious stories of of first dates going bad for all kinds of reasons, but never a reason like this one. A cat ruining a first date… that's a first to us. And it wasn't even the cat doing the shenanigans! Do you know how we, internet people, fondly call overweight cats adorable fluffly little chonky cats? Well, it seems that online lingo doesn't always translate very well to real life. 

Fat cats are adorable, as long as their weight is not impacting their health. That's what this guy was trying to tell the girl he was on a date with. But what came out of his mouth was more along the lines of: 'oh, look at this chonker, here he comes, this chunky catto is the most adorable catto to existo', and… well, she walked out.

January is over, guys, we have made it through the first month of the year, and… well, let's just say things have gone a little differently than we expected. Our resolutions… we're working on them, more or less. Self-care… we're trying, every single day, to so something nice for ourselves, more or less. Our goals that we have set for the new year… there are still 11 months to work on them, so there's still plenty of time. But there is one thing that we have done purrfectly this year already, and that's consume all the hissterical cat memes that we could!

Hello, hoomans. So happy you could join us!

Do you even wonder how your cats will react if you ever have kids? (if you don't have kids already, that is). We keep trying to imagine how each of our cats will act around a baby. Our first cat Coco, is pretty chill. She doesn't mind if you hug her really tight, and she mostly likes to just sit (or loaf) next to us on the couch. We can really imagine her just chilling next to the baby while it is sleeping in its crib, not batting an eye if the baby pulls at her ear or her tail. On the other hand, we have Awesome, our ginger cat. he is, as most ginger cats are, a furball of energy. He is also really possessive of us and can get really jealous if we pay more attention to Coco than to him. It is actually concerning how he will behave around another creature that takes away attention from him.

Update after update after update… This heartwarming story just keeps on spreading joy.

It all began one fateful day when a mailman was en route delivering mail to a trailer park. When he was there, he spotted some adorable stray cats who seemed a little thin. He began spending time with them, and documented the little critters, later uploading the pictures to r/notmycat, where his posts garnered a lot of attention from fellow animal lovers. Pretty soon, the mailman was receiving hundreds in donations, and after one thing led to another, these cute cats became his own purrsonal project.
