Japanese spa offers special back massages from cats leaving feline fans with the purrfect finish

Thu, 03/26/2026 - 17:00
As if we needed one more excuse to book a trip to Japan.

Japan has been at the top of our dream vacation list for years. We love everything matcha, sushi, and kawaii, so it's a purrfectly natural first contender. Not to mention the numerous cat cafes, cat islands (Aoshima and Tashirojima), robot restaurants, and all the ramen you could dream of. If you're also jonesing for a trip to Japan, we're sorry (not sorry) to give you one more reason to paws whatever you're doing and book those tickets immediately: back massages… by cats.

Have you ever dreamed of having a cat massage you into a zen-like state while you peacefully drift off into dreamland? Well, now, it can become a reality. At the end of the traditional massage, you can pay extra for a purrfessional feline masseuse to hop on and make sure your ending is truly happy. As they knead biscuits into your back and neck, you can feel comforted knowing that these kitties actually enjoy their work. We haven't met a cat yet that doesn't like making biscuits, and these hardworking felines aren't going to be the first.

We're generally very strict reviewers, but we're pretty sure we'd give these cats 5 stars. Even if they didn't do the purrfect job, we want them to stay employed, fed, and cared for, so we want to encourage other people to go and get a massage from them as well. Now, does anyone want to sit next to us on the 18 hours to Tokyo?

21 Real Cute Cats Looking Happy in Hats Just Because

Thu, 03/26/2026 - 15:00
There is a reason the fashion world calls it a "catwalk," and that is because cats are as stylish as they are cute. So let's rejoice in them looking extra happy in hats, because why not? We love cats!

If I were at a fashion show, I would pay attention much more if all the models were adorable little cats. Just saying…

Lion finds his furrever family after getting rescued from a shady backyard zoo, coming out of his shell when he meets a female and her cuddly cubs: ‘They cured his trauma’

Thu, 03/26/2026 - 14:00
Big cats are just like our house cats at home; they need love, affection, and a furrever family they can count on.

Lions, specifically, are known as the king of the jungle. However, a lion obviously never met the cat overlord I have in my house, demanding wet kibbles at all hours and cursing the laser pointer. Like many a mighty house cat, this lion was rescued by accident, getting discovered by his heroic rescuers by chance. Although cat lovers usually find their kitties in the alley, in a trash can, or under their car at the Walmart parking lot, this adult male lion was discovered at a shady backwoods zoo where they did lab tests on him.

This lion is a survivor, like all cats, and his story is just as emotional and remarkable. Keep scrolling for the heartwarming tale of an enormous 500lbs lion who just wanted to be cuddled and cared for by a cat family, which he found in the form of a huddle of cubs. He refused to relax at the wildlife rescue, until he learned from the lion cubs that these kind hoomans could be trusted.

Sometimes the truth lies in the mouth of babes… Baby lions, that is.

22 Relaxing Memes of Cats Set for a Sunny Spring Break Vacation

Thu, 03/26/2026 - 13:00
One warm day in, and cats are already on vacation.

Spring break rolls around and cats immediately clock out. No planning, no packing, just a quiet decision that they are now on vacation. The sun comes out and suddenly every warm spot in the house is fully booked.

They take their lounging seriously. One minute it's the window, the next it's a patch of sunlight on the floor, then somehow your spot becomes the best one in the house. A quick stretch, a turn, and that place is officially claimed. If it's warm, it's theirs.

There's a little light activity in between. Bird watching becomes a full event, plants get inspected a little too closely, and anything new in the room deserves at least a few seconds of attention. Nothing too demanding, just enough to break up the schedule.

Most of the day, though, is dedicated to naps. Long, uninterrupted, purrfectly timed naps. Wake up, stretch, shift slightly, and go right back to it. No rush, no pressure, just full commitment to relaxing.

Cats don't need to go anywhere for spring break. Give them sunshine, a few good spots to sit, and they're completely set. They've got the whole vacation thing figured out, and honestly, they make it look pretty good.

'Delivered a pizza and came home with the best tip ever': Pizza delivery driver rescues abandoned stray who jumped into their car and turns a routine delivery into a furever home

Thu, 03/26/2026 - 12:00
This cat didn't order a pizza, but she did order a new life.

Sometimes a normal shift turns into something way bigger. While out delivering pizzas right before Christmas, this driver pulled up to a house and was immediately greeted by the sweetest cat, who ran right up and hopped into the car like she'd done it before. It seemed like she must belong to someone nearby, but after asking, it turned out she had been left behind when the previous neighbors moved out.

She'd been living outside ever since, with people around feeding her when they could, but no real home. Friendly, healthy, and clearly used to people, she just didn't have anyone anymore.

So instead of leaving her there, the driver took her home.

A vet visit confirmed she was doing well, just a little matted from being outside, and from there it was a full reset. No more street life, no more uncertainty, just a warm, safe place to land.

Now Ringo Starr is living exactly how she should be. Indoors, cared for, and clearly loving it. What started as a simple delivery ended up changing everything for both of them.

The heartwarming tale of the mysterious stray kitten who was gifted to delivery driver on Valentines Day and her instant acceptance and adoration of indoor life with her feline sibling, cat mom says: ‘Her and her big brother are playing constantly’

Thu, 03/26/2026 - 11:00
Cats come to us in all sorts of different ways, shapes and forms. But a cat being gifted to a delivery driver while on their route, well, that's a new one for us.

We have come across cats being placed on the street out of cars, cats waltzing uninvited into people's homes, cats climbing hoomans to claim them and even cats who save young children from terrifying events. But never before have we heard of the Cat Distribution System delivering a cat to a delivery driver while on their delivery route. Even just reading that back it sounds made up, or at very least some sort of strange glitch in the matrix that makes little to no sense.

But here we are with one of the most well adjusted and clever cattos we have heard about. Being delivered to their hooman in one of the sweetest and most surprising ways we have heard about. The only conclusion we can come to is that the CDS knew that this hooman deserved a lot of love but that they were not going to get what they so deserved for Valentine's day and so they stepped in to help.

30 Unhinged Little Meowers With Midnight Zoomies

Thu, 03/26/2026 - 10:00
Bzzzz! Cats get their excitement from making you stay up all night, so be prepared.

Midnight zoomies - as cat pawrents we are way too familiar with this nightly ritual we didn't consent to. They sleep all day so that they can zoom around the house when we're trying to get our beauty sleep. It's not respectful, but who said cats were respectful? They're chock full of unhinged, wild, wily, untamed behavior, but that's also why we love them. Being sleep deprived from cats feels a lot better than sleep deprived from anything else. When you're sleep deprived you're not yourself. You waver in and out of being, you wonder what's even happening around you, but you do what you need to do anyway.

Despite a cat's chaotic temperament, we love them all the same, and keep them all the same. Their midnight zoomies don't affect us too much, and we still manage our lives. The benefits of having a cat greatly outweigh the negatives, and that's saying something since we all love and need our sleep. But here's to our chaotic, unhinged kitties simply being themselves at all hours of the night. These nightly, unhinged cats having zoomies will be the best thing you see today.

22 Cat Memes That Prove Human Catnipulation is Real

Thu, 03/26/2026 - 07:00
You think you own a cat? Think again. One moment you're petting them, the next they occupy your lap like it's national territory and make it very clear you're not moving anywhere until they decide. They've stolen your spot on the couch, your snack, and your heart.

Of course, they shredded your important papers and knocked over all the things on your counter. Of course, you ended up cleaning the mess they made. AGAIN. They'll just do it all over again, mercilessly, because they sure think we are their servants. And honestly, we can't prove them wrong. We just sigh and laugh.

Well, I'm afraid I have some bad news for you, my friend…

Cats rule your house. If you don't believe it, scroll through these 22 ridiculously meownipulative memes that prove it beyond doubt!

DIY guy falls in love with stray cat, then builds him a purrfectly insulated outdoor home by hand to save him from -20 degree winter: 'His name is Archie, and he guards the place'

Thu, 03/26/2026 - 05:00
He said the main reason why he replaced Archie's outdoor "yurt" was because it was driving down his property value, but we think it's because he secretly loves him.

It's tough being an outdoor cat, especially in winter. With subzero temperatures, snow, sleet, and freezing rain, one of the most stressful parts of surviving outdoors is finding prroper shelter. And after falling in love with a stray neighborhood cat, this DIY guy couldn't let his new best friend suffer through the -20 temperatures this winter, so he took it upon himself to build a cat house (by hand) for his outdoor guard cat, Archie.

Now, this isn't some run-of-the-mill cat house. It's insulated from top to bottom, with entrances and exits, and even electrically heated floors to stay warm no matter how cold it is outside. Before he started building this, Archie had what they called a "yurt". It was basically a small cage with blankets covering it. And while that may be better than nothing, it's by no means sufficient to survive in such harsh winters. It was also, frankly, very ugly.

After weeks of work, our DIY guy finished, and Archie now has a new home. He keeps their home mouse-free, and in return, he gets food, love, and now, an upgraded penthouse. That sounds like a pretty good deal to us.

If you care for any outdoor cats during these cold months, please consider investing in an insulated cat house for them. It could just make a life-saving difference for them.

23 Hissterical Memes of Cats Choosing Your Cup Over Their Water Bowl

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 18:00
You think it's your drink until they get there.

Cats drink a lot of water, just never from their own bowls. You can fill it, refresh it, move it somewhere else, but it still won't matter. The second you pour yourself a glass, that's the one they want. Same water, different cup, but now it's somehow purrferred.

They don't take their time about it either. They walk over, lean in, and start drinking like this was planned. No hesitation, no checking, just straight into your glass like they poured it themselves. Their own bowl could be right there, full and waiting, and it might as well not exist.

They don't just take a sip and leave. They'll stay there, lapping it up like they've got hydration goals to hit. You're standing there watching your drink slowly disappear, trying to decide if it's still yours or if it's been fully claimed. It doesn't feel like your call anymore.

At some point, you accept it. They are staying hydrated, just not in a way that makes any sense. Their bowl is untouched, your glass is not, and that's just how it works.

A Curiosity of the Cutest Cat Pics to Fuzzily Fix Your Midweek Feline Funk

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 17:00
Some people add an extra shot of espresso to their coffee to turn their day around, but we need a cornucopia of cute kitties and five minutes of scrolling to make any day a pawsitive one.

Everyone focuses on how bad Mondays are, but we always furget how ruff Wednesdays can be. You feel like you've gotten so far in the week, and yet, the weekend is still nowhere in sight. Somehow, you have to make it through, and we all have our little hacks for fixing the midweek funk. Some people buy themselves a sweet treat, others allow themselves an extra cup of coffee (or three), but we don't need any of that. We just need cute cats and all the wholesome serotonin they purrvide us.

When you look at pictures of something you love, your brain is flooded with a rush of happiness and nostalgia thanks to how your brain is wired. Your stress levels even decrease. You will start to recall meaningful memories around that thing and start to feel calmer. If you made it this far, you're probably as much of a fan of felines as we are, so you're in the right place. No matter if you woke up on the wrong side of the cat bed or your day was already in the litter box, there's nothing some cute cats and kittens can't fix. It's scientifically proven!

20 Cat Pawrents Post their Cats’ Craziest Quirks

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 16:00
Cats are well known to be weirdos, but no one knows just how weird they are other than their pawrents. And today we are lucky enough to have some of those curious quirks exposed by the feline pawrents of the world.

As you might have expected, each and every cat's quirk is unique, like a snowflake. Sure, most are based around particular foods, but even within that category there is a plethora of variety and variations in the strange things that these cats like to get up to. Which is honestly rather delightful to hear that they might be even a little stranger and more particular than some of us hoomans who seem to have little to no limits on the strange things we are into.

So if you want to find out if cats are quirkier than you, or you simply want to enjoy the wonderfully weird things that cats like to get up to, we invite you to dive into this list of crazy cat quirks to get your feline fill. Just be warned, you might not be able to look at certain fruits or vegetables in the same way again.

20 Tiny Toe Beans and Precious Paws Serving Maximum Meow Energy

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 15:00
Beans and paws are the teeniest source of joy for cat lovers worldwide in a world full of turmoil.

Our modern world often feels heavy and cumbersome to navigate because of the constant stream of bad news reports. But cat lovers have discovered a foolproof floofy source of joy: those teeny tiny paws affectionately known as peets. Considering they come with the squishable toe beans and imaginary dabloons, these purrecious paws serve up maximum meow energy to brighten even the gloomiest news feed.

Our feline overlords have a specialized talent for improving our moods, and their peets are definitely their most enchanting feature. Whether they are delicately typing across our keyboards, kneading our laps into submission, or flaunting their beans while napping in impossiblly liquid-looking positions, these tiny paws never fail to lift our spirits.

There is something truly meowgical about the way a cat stretches their toes to reveal those soft pink or black landing pads. They are nature's ultimate stress relievers - purrfectly round happiness dispensers wrapped in floofy fur. Even if our cats would prefer we didn't gently squish them, just looking at those pawdorable toe beans is enough to reset our internal peace. And this is exactly why we compiled this special edition of cat memes - full of paws, toe beans, and derpy dabloons.

23 Hissterical Pictures of Cats Craving a Cheesy Pizza Slice and Hoping You'll Share

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 13:00
Pizza night quickly becomes a group activity.

Cats and pizza don't seem like they should go together, but the second a pizza shows up, they're involved. You didn't invite them, but they're already there, sitting way too close like they've been part of the plan the whole time. It usually starts with the box. Flat, warm, and exactly the kind of spot they go for, so they sit right on top of it like it belongs to them.

Once the box opens, they don't leave. They shift closer, watching every slice, staying right in the middle of everything. The pizza is out, and now they're fully in it too. There's no backing off, just slowly getting more involved.

Then it turns into sitting directly on the pizza like that's the next step. One second it's untouched, the next there's a cat on it, claiming a slice just by being there. No hesitation, no pause, just fully committing to the spot they picked.

It goes from your pizza to something shared without any discussion. The box was theirs, the space was theirs, and now the pizza is too.

'My wife picked up this oil covered malnourished animal': Tiny kitten crawls out from under a truck stop conex container, is rescued on the spot, and finds her way into a warm, loving home

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 12:00
They went looking for a cat, but the right one found them first.

This started as a couple who weren't exactly on the same page about cats. She had always been a cat person. He wasn't so convinced. After her last cat passed at 17, they looked around at shelters and adoption listings, but nothing really clicked and it didn't feel like the right time.

Then Connie showed up and made the decision for them.

She was found at a truck stop, crawling out from under a conex container, covered in oil and clearly not doing great. And still, she walked right up, meowing and asking for attention like she already knew she belonged. That was it. The phone call home wasn't a question, it was more of a warning that a cat was coming home.

From there, it all came together. A bath, some food, a litter box, a vet visit, and a little time to settle in. What started as a rough situation turned into a cat who is completely attached to her people, always nearby and always wanting attention.

Six months later, even the non-cat person is fully on board. Connie, named after where she was found, has completely taken over in the best way, and it's hard to imagine things any other way.

Family who gave up on finding missing outdoor cat after 6 years of companionship, surprised to find the kitty skinny and malnourished 2 months later at pawrent’s gym, cat dad says: ‘I’m buying a collar with my name and number so this never happens again.’

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 11:00
If you thought that the Cat Distribution System only delivers a cat once to their person, then this story will make you think again.

For when our cat dad most unfortunately lost the feline love of his life, he thought there was no chance they would cross paths ever again. At least not in this life. Which was a fair assumption to make, he lived in a remote area, with little civilization around his home leaving little chance for his cat child to be found and returned to him in the traditional way of using signs and social media groups.

But that dear friends is the beauty of the CDS. In the most unlikely of situations, in the most surprising of ways it works its magic and brings together the cats and people who are destined to be together. And by the sounds of it, this man and his cat were truly meant to be together, so the CDS stepped in to make it happen when they saw that they were not managing to make it happen on their own.

Beautiful angelic cat dropped off on side of the road in Georgia, caring family finds her and brings her to their home to adopt her: 'We definitely don’t take having her for granted'

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 10:00
It's hard to imagine wanting to get rid of a beautiful, angelic, white cat like this one, but at least a caring family took her in.

The most gentle cat on the planet – or so they say. And that she loves to give people little licks. This poor thing was found by a family. She was neutered and had a flea collar, so it was clear she had belonged to someone. Then they asked a neighbor around, and the neighbor said that four or five months ago, she was dropped off, and in her hunger would hunt down mice in the field nearby. They found her just outside the city limits, and apparently it's super common for people to drop off animals just outside city limits. They say their neighbors above them got their three dogs like that too! It's tragic to think about, but it sure happens. They wanted to take her in, being that she was so pure and angelic and white, and they gave her the furrever home she deserved. They say she's so gentle, and one of the most affectionate cats they've met. They've had her for two amazing years, and will have her for years to come! This is one of those stories that seems so genuinely wholesome, it's impossible not to have it resonate with you on some level.

A Celebration of 28 Cat Memes That Deserve a Round of A-paws

Wed, 03/25/2026 - 08:00
You can't convince a cat that they don't deserve our attention; they know better.

Although cats want the hoomans of the world to believe that they're naive, empty-headed, little peanut noggins, cats are actually clever. Mischievous like a monkey and cunning like a fox, it's no wonder the human species has spent centuries worshiping cats. They've engineered it that way.

Over the decades, centuries, and millennia, cats have finely tuned their actions to meownipulate us, in the best way possible. It doesn't come from a bad place when cats play with humanity like they're as soft as Play-Doh; it's because inherent cat laziness dictates that cats must have bipedal servants.

That's where cat lovers come into the picture.

Without humans, cats could never open a tin can of wet kibble delights, and without us, who would clean up the litter box? Cats know this and have solved their many dilemmas using humans. If a cat isn't getting enough attention, it's time they knock our favorite mug off the counter (that thing was getting more kisses in the morning than the household feline: DESTROY). If a cat isn't getting enough playtime when they're at the peak of their energy boost? Attack the sleeping human's ankles.

Humanity offers more than just infinite entertainment to cats, and although it may seem like our cats are manipulating us into bowing to their every whim, it's important to keep up the facade of kitty dumbness.

Kittens are playful and silly, while cats are lazy lumps. But during all of the stages of cat ownership, it's always clear who has who wrapped around their little finger. Or in this case… Their little toe bean.
