We all need an escape in our lives. Escapism exists for a reason. No one can be fully present and alert about life's tumults, trials, and tribulations every moment of our days. We need a break from the heaviness, something that can take our minds off of the bad bits and make us feel good. Sometimes an escape from ordinary world is used with a little imagination, and why not imagine purrfectly whiskered kitties? They're here to whisk you away to a cozy little world that's all your own, where you can do what you want, where everything is sacred, and where there's a magic to everything. Cats already have that slightly mysterious air about them, as if they know secrets the rest of us don't. One moment they're starting intently at a blank wall, the next they're darting across the room as if chasing invisible spirits. It's easy to imagine that cats are living half in our world and half in a world of whimsy.

A new website has delighted internet users and dominated everyone's Twitter feeds, and it's called Your AI Slop Bores Me.

The site is a response to AI taking people's jobs. Now, you can steal an AI's job right back! 

In March 2026, the website Your AI Slop Bores Me officially launched, and subsequently broke the internet. By which I mean, if you happened to scroll through Twitter recently, it was all you would see on your timeline. The absolute joy that people are getting out of this site is infectious! 

It only takes a plop to make someone fall in love with you. 

It can feel like fate when you find another soul that resembles someone you've known. In the story here, it feels like that kind of serendipitous fate. It's a university student who's just leaving his apartment ground on campus, when he spots a cat who looks like she's not in great shape. She's dirty with fleas on her, but has a beautiful white and brown coat. He approaches her and she's already friendly – she flops immediately, just asking for belly rubs. Then he takes her in. He already has two cats, but he's open to more. He gives her several baths in a matter of a few days, and there's a lot of dirt that comes off of her. He takes her to the vet for their full check up, and he knows she's his forever. He says she reminds him of the cat he had in high school, who he claims is his soulmate cat. Working in the service industry means tips are often a huge part of employees' income, which makes things especially concerning when the numbers don't seem to add up. In one Reddit post, a server shared their suspicion that management at their restaurant might be taking a large portion of the staff's tips. 

The employee claimed servers only received about 20% each while a surprising 60% was labeled as "the restaurant's share." The post quickly sparked a discussion among other service workers who shared their own experiences and advice about spotting possible tip theft in the workplace.

After an inspection, this landlord had a surprising criticism for the tenants: unplug all your small electronics.

Texts at nine in the morning demanding a fence summit right now, volunteer labor from the husband next door, and a general vibe that this crisis will be handled today, whether anyone's budget agrees or not.

It's not every day you become a purrsonal Uber driver for your clients' cat.

Cats are meowsterious creatures. They can find their way into the tiniest of spaces, can disappear for hours in your own house, and love to show up in the most random places. After a few scary experiences, this has taught us to always check to make sure we know where the cat is before leaving the house. It's now a second nature; we check for our wallet, keys, ID, and cat. We're pretty sure the family in our video below is going to do the same now! However, it wasn't even the family who noticed their cat was gone, it was their realtor, who was surprised to find a secret stowaway on her roof!

While driving out of the neighborhood, she heard someone screaming at her. She rolled down her windows and heard, "You have a cat on your car!", and she absolutely did. While looking for the purrfect spot to sunbathe, her clients' cat climbed onto the roof of her car, and stayed there, confused, as she drove away. Thank goodness someone noticed, or else that kitty might have gone for the ride of its life. 

The realtor drove the kitty back to his pawrents' house, VIP style. He got hand-delivered to his owners, who laughed the whole thing off. Thankfully, no cats were lost or hurt, but this one did get the fanciest Uber ride any cat has ever gotten. Watch the whole hissterical video below!

A Homeowners Association's garbage policy didn't pass the smell test and was quickly overturned when homeowners complied, revealing how much the rule stank.

Rather than getting upset and trying to overturn an overreaching trashcan policy through complaints, this homeowner shared how their compliance with the rule brought the HOA around to realizing the error of their ways. Just another silly example of over-applied rules showing how much they stink, in a quite literal way.

Going to the vet's with your cat is always an adventure. 

If you have ever owned a cat, then you know that one of the worst parts of it is having to take your cats to the vet. Simply because cats hate the vet, and we hate doing things that they hate. Of course, there are the occasional exceptions - cats who purr at the vet's and all that, but generally speaking, cats don't like the experience. Cats hide at the vet's. Cats go crazy at the vet's. Cats want the whole thing to be over as soon as possible. 

The vets love the cats, of course. Even the spiciest cats will have the vets cooing at them. Because that is what vets are. They love animals, and they are awesome people, but… they also have to be honest. In their notes to about the cats themselves, in the warnings that they leave for the other vets who will have to deal with your cats in the future, they have to say the truth. For the better or worse. Some cats, the vets will say are amazing. Because they are. And other cats… other cats will be shamed in your vet's notes to the point that you, as the owner, will feel just a little bit ashamed as well. While you are also laughing. 

These people couldn't wait to tell the tales of their least responsible coworkers ever. 

No matter how carefully those hiring managers do their due diligence, there are always going to be a few people hired who are just totally inept at their jobs. They might start off strong, but within a few weeks, they're slacking off, making everyone else's jobs harder. 

Some bad coworkers steal people's lunch from the office fridge. Others would rather hide than do a minute of work — and if you work in a physical kind of job, this will make your coworkers instantly turn on you. 

Doing something selfless for a cat is one of the purest ways to show kindness. 

We always say that cats are like family to us and that we would do absolutely anything to make them happy. It is usually things like giving our cats the wet food that they love the most. And it is buying our cats cool cat trees, even though they generally prefer the boxes they come in. And it's getting our cats cool toys, even though they care about them maybe ten percent of the time. It's about spoiling our cats in every way that we can - any way that would keep them happy. 

But even with all of that, we don't think that many people would do for their cat what these three daughters did for their father's cat. After his passing, they got their father's house - and the cat that lived in it. The simplest solution at that point would have been to rehome the cat and decide what to do with the house afterwards. But that is not what they did. They decided to truly treat this cat like family. They decided to keep this house on - keep paying or it, keep maintenance of it - all so that their father's elderly cat could live his retirement in the space that he is used to. And that is what we call kindness. 

Homesellers would do anything to sell their properties, even if it means hiding information from potential buyers. The question is, do others have a responsibility to disclose the actual truth to these buyers, to keep them from making a mistake?

Cats don't just choose humans. Sometimes, they choose to adopt friends from other species as well.

We say it all the time. Cats are the ones who choose their families, not the other way around. You think that when you walk into a shelter, looking for a cat to adopt, the outcome is in your hands, but it is not. Whether you walk out of there with a cat or not is entirely in the cats' paws. They might choose you, and they might not. You need to prove yourself worthy first. 

Of course, we don't know the exact way in which we can prove that we are wrothy to them. That is why the cat distribution system still, to this day, catches people off guard. It works in meowsterious ways. But it does always work. And although, more than anything else, cats choose humans to adopt, sometimes, they also choose other animals. 

And it can be any animal. A cat can choose a dog as its best friend, despite their differences, despite the fact that they are known as sworn enemies, despite how different their behaviors are from one another. A cat can choose a bird as its best friend forever, despite the fact that one is prey and one is the opposite, despite the fact that you would never imagine a cat befriending a bird. We have even seen cats choose turtles as best friends, and isn't that a ridiculous combination that you have probably never thought of.

For animals that have such a reputation for being aloof and preferring to be on their own, cats are actually extremely friendly creatures. They are simply friendly only with the creatures that they choose to be friendly with. And honestly, we think that is fair. You would think that we would be incredibly surprised to see the cat in today's video befriend a bunch of sheep in a flock, but no. 

The thing that actually surprised us about this video is not the interspecies friendship. That is something that we have seen quite a few times, both with cats and with other animals. No, what actually surprised us was the cat turning into a little shepherd and leading the flock himself. 

"Paying your dues" doesn't mean senior employees should be allowed to blatantly steal your ideas. 

It's hard to come up with original ideas time and time again, so jaded, senior workers rely on the fresh meat in the office for new, positive ideas, especially in the marketing world.

Senior marketers commonly steal the intellectual property of their hardworking employees because they have nothing new to contribute after all their years in the biz. Despite the commonality of this practice, it's downright thievery. Oftentimes, interns will roll over and play along with upper management's workplace narratives about "paying their dues," but this all-star worker knew that their genius ideas and their late nights were being wasted. With a lack of recognition and a boss who gladly stole credit for their work, something had to be done. 

Because when this boss's original ideas dried up, they were happy to borrow some of their employee's work, even if it would eventually come back to bite them.
