We love our dogs. For some people, their dog is more important than any friendship and the dog's position in the household has been firmly secured as a bone-a-fide family member. Contrarily, the Karen in our next story never imagined that a dog would ever surpass her own self-imposed importance and she had the audacity to challenge a woman's claim to the plane seat she paid for for her service dog. 

Selfishly, the Karen approached the dog owner from the plane's aisle during boarding. When the dog owner declined, the Karen went on a humiliating tirade attempting to slander the dog owner with comments like 'you're going to prioritize a dog?!'–to which the answer was a resounding yes.

What was this school's administration thinking? Not only did they decide to suddenly and without warning increase the weekly rates for its boarding students, but when they finally informed the student population, they fully lied about how big the increase actually was.

Clearly, these board members could not do math on their own or they wildly underestimated the strengths of their largely STEM-oriented students. These folks were quick to calculate that the weekly price increase was not 2% as the board had stated. Instead, the prices had increased a full 33%. Talk about a manipulative and wildly unethical way of justifying the policy changes.

Thankfully, the school was located downtown among various restaurants where students could go get their own meals for a much cheaper price. So, the students began opting out of meal plans in droves, draining the school's resources in the process and forcing them to go back to the old price structure within a few weeks. Every fluffy feline has its particular quirks and clawminal behavior. There were a surprising amount of stories with a common theme: neighbors who were determined to move their property line. It doesn't matter if it's just a couple of inches or a few feet. Everyone has had that moment of panic when you send a gossipy text about someone and worry that you accidentally sent it to that person. Nine times out of ten, you're just being paranoid, but every so often, you find yourself with a ton of explaining to do.

If you ever find yourself talking to someone who is not from the US about college, they are always shocked by how much college students have to pay for tuition. Some countries in Europe have actual free universities, and here in good ol' America, people carry their student loans for literal decades. 

That is why when we hear of stories in which colleges and universities take even more money from their students, without an actual valid reason, it simply makes us see red. For example, can someone explain to us why, for the love of god, students still need to buy textbooks? Have professors not heard of PDFs? Why is that still something that literal teenagers have to spend thousands of dollars on every single year?

At some jobs, there is no winning solution to the boss's problems. It's often an issue that management has, then insists on passing down to their workers. This malicious compliance story is a great example of that dynamic.
