Woman saves for 20 years to buy her dream home and refuses to let disrespectful neighbors turn her backyard into a dumping ground: 'I’m throwing away 5 tennis balls a week'

Fail Blog - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 12:15
Imagine saving for 20 years to buy a home, only to be unable to enjoy your backyard because of inconsiderate neighbors. And what's even worse, imagine starting things off by giving them Christmas cards and cookies, only to end up needing legal advice.

A yard is a special place in a house. It's where you relax, have friends over, maybe do some gardening, and feel at home. It's nice to have your green space nice and clean. So it's understandable that, after so much effort, this new homeowner is just trying to enjoy her backyard as she deserves.

Cat distribution system calls on cat loving couple’s dog to find and deliver them a kitten to ease the loss of their fur baby, cat mom says: ‘The purrs and cuddles of this little baby are more healing than anything right now.’

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 12:00
You never know when it will take a dog to bring home a cat.

But if you are the pawrent who this happens to then you are amongst the luckiest cat pawrents we have ever heard off. Just think for a moment how many things have to happen so that a dog would willingly bring home a cat. First off the dog needs to not only be ok with cats, they have to actually like them. Then you have the small detail that the abandoned cat outside would actually want to come along with the dog.

A level of trust in doggos that is almost unheard of in the feline world. And then you have to have the settling in of this new feline addition to your home run smoothly with whatever other pets you have in your home. All in all, for this kind of thing to work out without any tears is a miracle and that is exactly what happened to one cat loving couple just as they began mourning the loss of their soul cat. Making it a double miracle!

New manager requires hand-written approval of every repairs request, causing massive delays in repair jobs, CEO steps in to reprimand management

Fail Blog - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 11:30
Some managerial orders make no sense, and the only way to prove that is by showing, not telling.

This new manager, the aptly named Kevin, thought he could swoop in and enforce a slew of new processes and regulations that, in his eyes, were more efficient and productive. However, the folks on his team, who had been working in technician repairs far longer than their new boss had been in the industry, knew immediately that these new "ideas" would prove to be ineffective at best and outright disastrous at worst.

Guess who was right in the end?

26 Uplifting Pics of Funny Felines Fooling Around

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 11:15
To be uplifted is to know that everything is right in the world. So here is a reminder that the world is as it should be because cats are still being silly and acting the fool.

As it is often said, it is the little things in life that make it so good. And if we are looking for signs that everything is still ok, it only makes sense that we would begin with the little things. So by that logic as long as cats still have their delightfully derpy moments. The ones where it feels as though the incredible amount of intelligence that exists within their brains disappears instantly. The world is still ok, it is still spinning and there is absolutely nothing to worry about.

And seeing as that is the case and we have put together this list of hilarious cats being random and weird, you can take a well earned sigh of relief for yourself and know that the world will be ok, at least for one more day. So go forth, scroll to your heart's content and see that everything is right with the world.

A Cozy Collection of Cuddled Up Cats Wishing It Was Still Winter

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 10:30
Some people prefer cozy movie nights to beach days, but what do you prefer?

Winter is quiet, it's still, it's staid, and no other season holds what it holds. The world seems to slow down as colder air settles in, skeleton trees stand baren against pallid skies, and sunsets are before you're even off work. There's a stillness in winter that can feel both peaceful and melancholic, depending on the day. The season changes everything about our days. Everyone's seen with a warm mug, or a cozy blanket. A glowing lamp in a dark room, the sound of rain against a window, or the feeling of stepping inside from the cold can suddenly feel deeply comforting. The cats below are winter cats – they miss the sound of rain, seeing the sleet and snow out their window. Summer has it's qualities, but there's nothing like the stillness and beauty of winter. Enjoy these cats cuddled up and cozy to reminisce winter months.

Professional vet doing medically-informed dog sitting gets shorted $200 due to dog owner's own mismanagement, quits and gets owner locally blacklisted: ‘I had a working relationship with every vet [and] petsitter.'

Fail Blog - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 10:00
How do you treat your hired dog sitter?

This is the person taking care of your fur babies, your soul dogs, your family! So you shouldn't skimp on anything here. For instance, this person hired a vet to make sure her dogs had a medically-informed petsitter for when she had to travel for a couple of weeks at a time. Unfortunately, this dog owner was more unruly than the clearly untrained dogs. After two years and constant skirting of the consequences of her actions, the sitter quit. But not just quit, she made sure that all the local veterinarians and pet sitters knew about the behavior of this dog mom and emphasized avoiding working for her. Don't mess with your petsitter!

Kitten left behind at rental home by previous tenants only to be found by new tenant during move in, he decides to keep the grey kitty: 'We weren't really planning on getting a cat'

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 09:45
If you were left with a kitten during move in, would you keep him?

Moving is stressful enough without the daunting task of animal care. This guy started moving into a new place, and during his first day there he saw this tiny grey kitten meowing at him from the side yard. The kitten hung around there all day, which is already shocking for a cat. They talked to the neighbors, and were informed that the last tenants had a bunch of cats, but left this one behind. The neighbors have been feeing him, but can't take him in due to an allergy. So this guy decides it's time for the cat distribution system to find him.

Barista new hire making $15 an hour at a small local Michigan coffee shop discovers that their boss has been keeping tips, which he insists is "to put into the business," and their coworker experienced retaliation when they confronted the boss about it

Fail Blog - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 09:00
What would you do if you discovered that your boss was keeping tips that you were promised as part of your pay?

Tipping as a culture has gotten out of control. There's a reason why that whole "turn the iPad around" meme was so popular a couple of years back; it seems now that, for every little service, you're expected to turn over an additional 20% of the purchase price.

It makes sense in states where the minimum wage is so low that simply the wage alone isn't enough to make the job even worth the time spent working, let alone being an amount of money that you could live off of. But, as a customer, you sometimes can't help but wonder whether or not your tip is actually going to the staff who gave you such great service. You almost feel, sometimes, like you can see the screaming behind their eyes telling you not to tip.

This is, of course, probably just in our imaginations and is just a glazed-over look from an overworked and overtired service worker who is looking forward to the end of their shift.

Uncle buys 14-year-old Niece extra food after discovering her Dad lets her brothers eat more: 'His daughter was the only one consistently being left out'

Fail Blog - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 08:15
This Uncle is showing up for his 14-year-old niece in a way that really matters. Too bad his own brother is upset about the special treatment she's now getting!

Your teen years can be tough enough without your parents being super strict about what you eat.

After all, as adults, when we're hungry, we go get a snack. So why do we deny our teenage kids the same agency?

I mean, there have to be limits, because teens do love to eat. But allowing them to grab healthy snacks, or cook healthy meals, when they're starving is a great way to prepare them for adulthood.

Former feral stray slowly adapts to the comfort of being a family cat, one paw at a time; human parents are delighted that: 'He doesn’t hiss or scratch at all anymore.'

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 08:00
Feral cats' transformations are ameowzing.

Thinking of the long way a feral cat has to make to become a house prince or princess is so incomprehensible sometimes. And that's without even talking yet about the effort their humans need to do to help that happen. Former feral cats who are used to the hardships of living in the streets have such a sharp curve to go through before they can trust that the home they're in is really the forever home they were wishing for - even if they didn't know they were wishing for one at all.

Think of all the things a cat might experience outside, alone, with no one to care for them - lack of food, harsh weather, fights for territory, dangerous roads, predator roaming animals, and sometimes even people who behave abhorrently towards cats. All these things cat creat cats who are anxious, reserved, and hard of trusting. All these things happen to them, but all cats need is love. And it's hard receiving love with open paws when all you've ever known are trials and tribulations.

Following a journey of former feral cats is an ameowzing transformation to watch. And it's also with a lot of thanks to the humans who are willing to take them in and guide them through this wholesome ride. People who are willing to adopt a feral cat are people with bravery that not everyone has. Luckily for this sweet cat below, he has the most patient family, who shares his journey with the rest of the online cat community.

Company demands employees return to the office after working remotely, one employee refuses to comply and stays home, manager responds: ‘There’s really nothing I can do’

Fail Blog - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 07:30
Some jobs don't require an office to do them, which makes you wonder why some companies still insist on spending so much money on an office if they don't technically need it.

Plenty of people have jobs they can do from anywhere they like. With the help of their loyal laptop and some good ol' WiFi, they can be doing their job from the comfort of their beds, from the beach, or from the middle of the jungle.

But can they actually do that? Well, most of the time the answer is a firm 'no'.

As much as it would have been perfect, even those who have a job that can be done from anywhere, and not just an office, are usually required to spend 8 hours a day in one. Employees get maybe one or two generous days of work from home, but the rest of their time have to spend in a boring, pointless office.

It can be quite disappointing to have a fully remote job, only to be forced to return to an office for no apparent reason. Someone higher up decided they want to know what their employees are doing every minute of every day, which leaves employees with no choice but to indulge their demands.

But what can they do?

34 Cat Memes for Cats and Their Funny Folks

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 07:15
Do you think cats would also enjoy cat memes?

It's not a secret that we adore cat memes. We are I Can Has Cheezburger, after all. But that's because of the great combination of these two concepts that we love. It's all in the name: cats and memes. We love cats. We're all cat people here, and we can safely assume all you reading this are cat lovers as well, if not cat pawrents reading these very lines while a cat is purring in your lap. Cat people's adoration of cats knows no bounds - and we're no different. So, obviously, anything that has cats in it has our love and appreciation.

And memes? Memes are a whole wide category of humor bits that almost all of humanity enjoys. We might not be memetics history experts, but just like any common person in modern society, we enjoy memes immensely. If you're into the general side of memes, definitely check out Memebase. But as we said, we're ICHC, and we're proud to give you cat memes galore each and every day. It's that combination of cats and memes that makes us feel all that feline delight, and we love every second of it.

But it makes us think - if cats could, would they enjoy cat memes the same way we do? Would they recognize their own greatness and adore the memes depicting them, or would they feel like we do when we look at human memes? Or, alternatively, do cats actually understand cat memes already, but keep quiet about it so we won't suspect a thing? So many existential questions in the morning… let's just enjoy some cat memes instead.

You miss 100% of the shelves you don't build yourself. They say no pain, no gain. They say if you want something done right, do it yourself. They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and apparently that step sometimes involves power tools, zero prior experience, and a level of self-belief that borders on the delusional. Motivational culture has been telling us for decades that the only thing standing between us and greatness is action. Just do it. Believe in yourself. Manifest the outcomes you deserve.Nobody said the outcomes had to make structural sense.

31 Purrfect Pictures of Tiny-Teefed Cats Showing Off Their Fangtastic Smiles

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 06:30
Tiny vampire teef always make cats look extra mischievous.

Cats with tiny little teef always look like they just crawled out of a very adorable vampire castle. One tiny fang slips out and suddenly the whole cat changes personalities. Regular house cat? Gone. Now it's Count Meowcula lurking around the apartment at 3am looking for chaos and snacks. Tiny teef really add so much drama for absolutely no reason.

Kittens are especially cute. They're the size of a potato and somehow still convinced they're terrifying apex predators. Tiny vampire fangs chomping on hoodie strings, fingers, phone chargers, chair legs, absolutely anything nearby. Full meowster of darkness behavior packed into six pounds of fluff and bad decisions. They'll bite your hand with microscopic little teef and then immediately fall asleep sitting upright five minutes later.

Some cats permanently have one fang sticking out all day too. Walking around looking like tiny haunted gremlins. It somehow improves every facial expression. Grumpy cats become dramatic villains. Sleepy cats look extra goofy. Serious cats instantly lose all intimidation points because one little tooth is hanging out like they forgot to finish getting dressed.

The random surprise teef sightings are elite cat behavior too. Mid-yawn. Mid-blep. Mid-stare from across the room while plotting absolutely nothing important. Suddenly there's one tiny fang poking out and the cat looks like it's trying incredibly hard to maintain dignity while failing spectacularly. Tiny teef really turn every cat into a furry little creature of the night.

'The CDS works in mysterious ways': Orange kitten Archie, rescued from a drain as a baby, finally finds his forever home after choosing his new owner and moving into their first apartment together

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 05:45
The CDS fast-tracked Archie straight to his new human.

One person had just moved into their own place and planned to wait a month or two before adopting a cat from a local shelter. Meanwhile, Archie clearly had other plans.

The orange kitten had originally been found alone in a drain at only eight weeks old before eventually ending up with the owner's mother after another placement didn't work out. By that point Archie was around five months old, full of energy, and apparently causing complete chaos around the other animals in the house. Very standard orange cat behavior.

The owner met Archie shortly after he moved in with their mother, and the connection happened immediately. Once they got their own apartment, the idea came up to see if Archie might do better there instead. During the second visit, Archie basically made the decision himself. He ran straight over, climbed into their lap, and settled in like he already knew exactly where he belonged.

Now Archie already acts like he owns the apartment. He sleeps at the end of the bed, investigates every little noise like tiny orange security, and completely passes out asleep in somebody's arms after only a few days there. Orange cats always seem to come with extra personality too. A little chaotic, a little dramatic, and somehow unbelievably affectionate at the same time.

Woman refuses to babysit entitled sister's son while she's on vacation after he broke his aunt's work laptop: 'I asked how it was that they had money for a vacation but never had money to pay for the things their son broke'

Fail Blog - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 05:00
Just because you don't have kids does not mean you don't have a life!

This woman needed to inform her entitled sister of that seemingly self-explanatory fact, but apparently some siblings out there need to be reminded that the world does not revolve exclusively around them. This woman, who works in IT with a stable salary and lifestyle, often volunteers to help take care of her nephew from time to time. However, it did not take long before her sister started taking advantage of the author's willingness to help.

The author shared her story about what happened after an unfortunate babysitting incident that her sister refused to apologize for. Not long after, the sister asked the author if she could come back to babysit her nephew yet again, but this time for an entire week while she would be on vacation. After all the ingratitude and disrespect, the author finally snapped.

27 Feisty Feline Funnies for People Manifesting a Long Weekend of Doing Absolutely Nothing

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 04:00
Are you working hard, or hardly working?

Corporate life is no joke. Going into the office and doing the same thing day after day can make you feel like you're in an episode of The Twilight Zone. Coffee room small talk, forced lunch conversations with coworkers, and meetings with clients just make us wish we were home with our cats even more. Our cats don't ask us to "circle back" onto something that should be easily understandable and achievable right now. But alas, we will always have things to "touch base on later" and ideas to inevitably "run up the flag pole".

It's Thursday, meaning we're already mentally checked out. We are, however, checked in to our weekend, and we're meownifesting a long one of doing absolutely nothing. No people, no plans - just us and our cats. The only hooman interaction we want is opening the door and saying "Thank you" to the delivery purrson bringing us our takeout. It sounds purrfectly peaceful and the exact reset we need to keep on keeping on for another week. And another week. And the week after that.

If this purrposal also sounds like a slice of heaven to you, then we think you're the kind of purrson who will love our feisty feline funnies below. We can describe you in a few phrases - humor us and read through them. You prefer hanging out with your cats over hoomans, you enjoy a good book over a loud concert, and whenever you do end up going to a social event, you make friends with the resident cat at the party instead of other people. Were we right?

LOL Cats - Thu, 05/14/2026 - 03:15
What is your cat's love language?

Even though hoomans have many love languages, we're not sure those properly translate into cat. If you ask us, with our years of experience with plenty of furriendly felines, cats have different types of love languages that come to light once they decide they love their devoted pawrents.

One common love language that both hoomans and cats have is, of course, physical touch, yet we wouldn't say cats and people show it in the same way. We hoomans show our physical love with kisses and hugs, sometimes even cuddles. Cats show their love physically by sitting on their owners' laps, sometimes even on their faces, and by refusing to move an inch once they've settled and are comfortable. It's the same love… simply shown differently.

Other than this specific love language, many of the ways cats decide to show their love are quite unique. Last time we checked, there was no hooman love language that involved causing pain to the person we love, yet cats do that all the time. They will playfully scratch and bite the people they love, and inflict physical pain just for fun. It's not meant to come across as mean or hateful; it is how some cats show their love.

Another cat love language that doesn't exist among hoomans is distance. If one person is putting distance between them and someone else, it usually means the opposite of love, but when it happens with your cat, you can tell they do it because they trust you. Your cat might not cuddle with you, and they might sit as far away from you as the couch allows, but the fact that they are there with you at all shows how much they trust you and want to watch you and make sure you're okay.

Here at I Can Has Cheezburger, we also show our love differently than other hoomans… we do it through memes. So scroll down to enjoy this collection of hissterical cat memes.

Manager demands employee charge customers 75 cents for tap water, employee makes sure customers know boss is responsible forcing him to face the customers himself: 'My boss acted like he'd invented modern economics'

Fail Blog - Wed, 05/13/2026 - 20:35
What else do you do when your boss asks you to do something that you know is going to upset customers?

Easily the worst part of any customer service, or customer-facing, role is dealing with customer complaints, especially when they're about policies that your company is pushing that you know are ridiculous.

Aside from that, there will come a time in your employment life where you are asked to do something that you know isn't right, might be unethical, and maybe not even legal. You're lucky if that thing is being asked to charge customers for tap water. The thing is, it doesn't make it any easier to stand your ground against your boss or that higher power who is asking you to do this.

'Hang in there, you're halfway to the weekend!': 21 Midweek meows for cat meme employees

LOL Cats - Wed, 05/13/2026 - 14:30
It's Wednesday, my dudes. Have you meowed at your cat yet?

What would happen if you did? Say, "Sorry, boss, I have a meeting right now, can't talk!" and then go home and just meow at your cat for like 20 minutes. That sounds like very important work. It's the middle of the week, so things can go either way. Either you LOL, maybe your boss also LOLs, your cat meows in confusion, and you go on with your life. Or you meow, and LOL, and your boss is submitting your behavior to HR, and your cat still meows, but not in confusion, now it's in concern. The possibilities are endless because it's Wednesday! (And yes, I still have to say wed-nes-day every time I write out that dang word…)
